I wrote something while playing! I didn't finish the game. I'll probably give it another try later.
- Very nice, lighthearted and enjoyable puzzle game... until...
- The Bravery mechanic is pointless and damages the experience. The game doesn't need something like that. For example, there's the second savepoint that doesn't activate until you complete the 3-button-puzzle that is practically a trial and error puzzle. It can be really annoying losing there because if you die there you have to repeat the whole forest section.
- Lack of savepoints. You should add more of them!
- Maps are okay, but can be improved.
- The Flower section requires frame perfect movements, you should slow down a little the flowers, but just a bit. Restarting each time from the beginning can be frustrating. I suggest you to add more checkpoints in that section.
- The Orge section is literally impossible to overcome. The controls won't work 90% of the times. Fortunately you don't lose Bravery when failing that part... and I'm ok with that, but what's the point of Bravery then?
- In the Bat section it's not clear where you have to hide and bats' line of sight is pretty random. You'll lose tons of Bravery there.
- You have to restart FROM THE BEGINNING even after you complete the cart section. There's where a stopped playing. It's the worst design choice ever made. I'm sorry, the game could've been really good but I just can't stand the choices made and I completely lost interest.
I will probably retry later, but this final part... omg. >_>"
tl;dr the game is nice overall and has great ideas, but the execution is not that great and can be frustrating. The lack of save/checkpoints completely ruins the experience.
