  • Theme: I didn't get the theme, but i get a limited action.
  • Audio: The music is irritating. But the movement sound is quite good.
  • Visuals: I love the visual design. The UI on bottom left is kinda big without proportion. could be smaller.
  • Gameplay: I miss a winning factor. It took me some time to realise that i need to go to the hole at bottom right. and there is no win/lose screen.

Congratulations on the game.

Thanks for the feedback! This is my first GameJam and game outside of some tutorials I followed along, so it has really taught me a lot about scoping, the importance of user experience, and what exactly defines finish. Invaluable.

Think about the MVP. You need to separate an hour or two to makes notes. Create alot of questions about the idea you want to make. Then do as many answers as you can for each question and see what do you think might fit together and what you can make.

This should help you. I have a problem with overscoping too. Usually overthinking, but this was the first Jam that i managed to fit a project together and deliver it.

What engine did you use?

Thanks for the tip, I will be sure to. And with the experience, I have a better idea of what exactly I can do in a given time.

Godot. I almost chose Unity, but my area had really bad internet speed, so I was forced to use Godot. So far though, I have really enjoyed it, so I am going to stick with it.

Perfect. Remember that the best engine is the one that we know the best and the one that we can extract 100% of it for a quality project.
