The maze portion is the worst part, i agree. I did not have enough time to do actual design. 99% of the time was spent on portals, and I did not have time for making the controls and the levels good enough. To me, the controls didn't impact the game much at all, It was more the puzzles that I cared about, and IMO they were pretty good. One of the most interesting puzzles was broken because of a bug, so that might be the reason why the interesting concepts didnt feel explained.

The controls impacted it a lot for me because it made the puzzles more frustrating.
