Game Title/URL: Kronos Rhapsody https://itch.io/jam/my-first-game-jam-winter-2022/rate/1367376

Pitch/Information: A top-down rouge-lite where you have to loot 364 million in 12 days, each day has various missions based on time taken and difficulty. Each map is generated based on day and difficulty, You control Sura who gained the power to stop time and is repaying an overlord for it.

I'd like feedback on: anything! Made this game while working on a day job, worked on a "passion" project after  a year or so

The link isn't working for me, just so you know

Hey! I enjoyed the art style, it was very unique and I could see how much effort went into that aspect of the game. On the other hand, I found the amount needed to be looted every day was almost impossible to achieve without spam clicking on chests. If I had achieved the wanted amount, it would have taken me hours. The enemies slide all over the place so perhaps instead of using velocity for their movement it would be more appropriate to change their transform.position over time which would make things much smoother. I was initially very interested in the game but the more I played it seemed to be very repetitive and the challenge of the enemies was too easy.  Also, the mechanic of slowing down time seemed to be almost useless so perhaps add more usefulness. I don't mean to tear apart your game, as I am certain you put a lot of work into it which is apparent. So I apologize if I come across that way. Again, I love the art style, but the mechanics aren't quite there yet.

Thanks for playing the game and for the feedback! The amount is high for purpose and you had to hold 'E' to loot, so it don't really take music time the, each loot had different time to loot, so the idea was to either avoid enemies and loot or fight them all and then loot. I guess it's on me for not having a tutorial on how to play it. I have a day job so didn't spend any time on this  game. also the enemies don't use velocity to move, but navmesh, didn't spend time to match the animations much. it's a small jam game so didn't really add more levels of depth in gameplay, So kinda expected to be repetitive. The time mechanic is very useful if known how to use it, specially for combat or escape. It's not a puzzle game, so time stop is for combat only.
