Thanks so much for playing + taking the time to comment :3

There are a couple of reasons why this game doesn't really have much in the way of choices/player input compared to my others. Firstly, because this is a fandub of an existing drama CD series, I didn't want to add too much of my own material since I wanted to stay as faithful as possible to the original work :3 With the original Japanese version being a CD, there aren't any choices aside from which track the listener picks at the end of the scenario to determine which character you end up with. I figured I'd implement that as an in-game choice by getting the player to choose a side after the fight and then adding a little bit of my own original dialogue for the characters to show their reaction to your choice, but aside from that, the rest of it is just my localisation of the Japanese original. I altered a couple of the way some of the lines are said + gave MC one or two lines, but since the listener of the original CDs can't physically speak or respond to the characters, I wanted to keep it as close to that as possible.

My second reason for not deviating from the original content was simply the sheer lack of time I had to make it, haha. I knew I would only have between 7-15 days to make something for the jam, and I figured, the less work I give myself to get through, the more chance I have of actually getting sometbing released by the jam's deadline x3

I'm definitely not against adding more choices and stuff in the future. In fact, I think it would be fun to expand on and explore the characters beyond the original Japanese material :D The only thing that would worry me is writing too much extra for the characters since they're not my characters >.< I feel comfortable localising it all, but I don't want to write too much original content and accidentally ruin the original work x3

As for transitions, you should be able to minorly speed up any of the game by clicking through it or using the scroll wheel on a mouse to fast forward a bit more smoothly. Nani allows for all text and stuff in the game to be sped through faster by using the scroll wheel (forwards to advance, backwards to rewind) but I never think to mention that as a feature cos I'm so used to it >.< I guess I should probably mention it somewhere though cos a lot of people will be used to playing VNs made in Renpy instead!

To speed through/skip things much faster though, there's a skip option on each of the text boxes and the ability to choose whether you skip everything or only seen content within the text panel of settings.

I don't have anything in the settings to specifically turn transitions off though since that's not something included as standard in my engine's settings, and I don't really like to mess with the default settings too much.

I'm glad you enjoyed going through it anyhow :3
