It was the first time I had worked with GBstudio and had to make a bunch of cuts to finish in time for the jam. I'm super excited with the engine and looking forward to making some updates. Kind of a port, but more of a test in GBstudio. "RumbleFest" started out as a passion project/first game. Think 1980s WWF meets pacman or snake. We released it on mobile ios, but if felt very much like a "first game".
Then a few years later, with a new team, we did a version for the NesMaker byteoff JAM, but that software really didn't suit our needs so the project kinda died.
Fast forward to now and GB Studio seems like a really good fit.
