How much time are you thinking? Because I didn’t want too much time but also didn’t want too little.
I think with the way buying stuff takes time away you could give the player a ton of time to start. It might feel best if it's almost impossible for the player to lose by just standing their and buying nothing for a few minutes. Im not sure, play around with it. It felt like it was balanced pretty well once I got going but it took multiple deaths to read fast enough to be able to get going
