I think we still need a weapon. The way I have it set up right now is the player looks in the four cardinal directions, but they can attack in 360 degrees. It should be easy to change this to match the players direction (just like OG Zelda games), but it would give the player a disadvantage, as they would have to adjust themselves to hit the enemy when can attack them from any direction. I could also recreate the enemies moment system but by this point I would recreate a lot of code.
