Great way to stick the theme. A great Jam submission, really.

Hey is there a Limbo/INSIDE inspiration? eheh Great job, really! And the idea has a great potentiality, I mean for sure a similar-to-Limbo game but actually more mature and with mind and psyche setting would be a great experience IMHO.. Have you played GRIS? Some ideas in it could bring your idea much enrichment.. (the 7 grief stages bring different gameplay and or level design)
Overall respectful job for a just-a-week solo development bringing a narrative and profound experience. Hats off. PS "seek not the light, but the spark that resides in you" hit me.

Kinda cool! I didn't immediately get what do to with the W and S options and I got it better only when u showed the SHIFT option: maybe I would have given more space in the game to the SHIFT option overall.. But really was a good idea and original way to approach the theme. :D

Thanks for your feedback and appreciations! :D
Yeah we choose to avoid texts and overlay as much as possible and we hoped the player was curious enough to explore all the place that mushrooms suggest.. U had to take every part in every stage (3 for the first one, 4 for the second one) to go further in the game.. Once u collect every part needed, there's a cut in the footage and the game continue.. :)

Yeah I have a 21:9 monitor too and we realized the issue really too late, sad :( That's part of the challenge I guess ahaha
Thank you so much for your feedback! :)

Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback! :D

Thank you so much for the thorough feedback, really appreciated! We're aware of some of the things you said, but as you might expect there was a balance to find with the time ahah We wanted to keep the game as light as possible, that's why the few mushrooms and lack on details (and in part for the time too), but we totally thought about that.
Narratively we were into the metaphor a lot and we had it in mind during the development but of course the game is open to personal interpretations! Thank you again for playing and for the feedback! :)

Hey there!
Thank you so much for your feedback, glad you've been able to enjoy despite the dimming ahah Finger crossed for the Jam!

thank you for your feedback, really appreciated! We didn't thought actually about any indication, relying on the simplicity of the island, but we will sure think more about it in the case we're going to expand the game and develop it deeper..

Again thank you for the appreciation 🙏 😃

I like it, good job! :D
