The graphics are so cool!

I think for some reason it doesn't work on my machine though, not sure what I'm doing wrong. The only thing I can do is press Space to spawns a cane that immediately falls through the floor to its death, and if I press space enough times it will jump to the next level. The mouse umbrella does not seem to have any effect either. This is a really cool concept though!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! That's a really great idea to add more depth to the gameplay!

Nice! The cover art is amazing and its cool how the world is endless! Once you get the first donut power it's pretty easy to keep going forever haha!

This is really fun! It's super hard to use anything other than lightning, but I suppose that is the point, to combo different attacks to gain more time! I really enjoyed this!

This is awesome and so original! The animation and sounds are so good. What engine/tools did you use to make it?

Whoa what a unique concept for a game! It's simple but the wind element gives you juuuust enough control to make you still have to think about what you're doing.

I really enjoyed playing!

Hey thanks! Glad you liked it!

Sound effects would be cool! Unfortunately I didn't get time to add them in. Maybe next year! 😂

I'll check out your game when I get the chance!

Whoa, a full HD game! It was cool to see it take up the whole screen with a very pleasant background image and to hear such soothing weather sounds!

I had fun trying to find the easter egg, which was really difficult! I couldn't get it by playing the game, but I figured out what it was after seeing your github commit history ;)

And I'll be sure to check out your submission soon too!!!

Thank you! Much appreciated! The maelstrom visuals and physics is what I spent like 98% of the time on😂

I'll check out your submission soon!

Lol yep I tend to cut things close xD

And yeah I used vector calculations from physics for this. First there is a vector from the object's position to the center that pulls objects inward at a constant velocity, then there is a perpendicular vector to that one which is used to apply the angular velocity which increases the closer you are to the center. The boat thrust is just a constant acceleration applied based on your angle (using sin and cos), and is calculated separately from the maelstrom velocities. Thanks for asking!

As far as the weather theme goes, I knew I wanted to do an Asteroids-like game at sea where you're caught in some sort of storm. Then I had the idea for the maelstrom which I totally thought was a weather phenomenon...

It says there is an Android version but I think it's only for Windows! 😥

This is such a great idea, integrating Google maps into a game! And the title kills me😂 My wife and I had to play a few times before we got it right - it's pretty challenging! Good job!

Glad you liked it, and thanks for pointing that out!

I really only had about 2 night to make this, and the levels were made 20 minutes before the deadline lol - so sorry for the lack of levels. I'll be sure to check your submission out!

This is actually pretty fun for a sorting game, and I like the different notes from the boss 😂 Love seeing fellow Pixel Game Engine creations!

I'm guessing not because he said he would be more strict this time with not letting people change their submission after the deadline.

That's a really good idea! I didn't really know what KIND of game these mechanics would lend itself to. But a puzzle game with some better level design would be cool!

This is pretty cool! If you based this off of Javidx9's Platform game video, I would watch the Role Playing Game series, which shows how to more easily make your character fit through 1-tile gaps. That was the main issue with playing it, but otherwise it was fun and creative!

This is pretty cool once you get the hang of it!!! Great job for your first jam!

This is actually really fun!!! I like that you did a "machine" gun. Great job using OOP principles as a beginner!

This is actually really awesome! Good job!

This seems like a cool concept, but why do you move so aggravatingly slow?

Dang. Put's the rest of us to shame :D

Can't wait for the video on networking to come out!

This is so cool :D It looks very well put together and it's a smooth experience! Very challenging too... my high score is 6...

Never said it wasn't buggy ;) But no I had to finish it very quickly and forgot to comment that out.

You can update the page for your game though, just not the game itself

This was a fun little thing to play xD I like the animation when you refuse the handshake

Takes a while to get the hang of, but it's very creative!

I like it, and I like that there is a leaderboard! It's funny and beat the boredom for me

This was amazing and hilarious. My girlfriend even wanted to play

And who ever said procrastination hurt anyone

PGE, of course! I love the challenge of a simpler engine that doesn't do as much for you.
