It just occurred to me that with all that fun after school, MC completely forgot to do the homework :)

Sorry, a small addition. I tried to clear only form&search and it didn't work. Then I've tried to clear cookies+form & search and it worked.

It's gone. I installed Firefox on my first laptop, started the game, reloaded, got the bug, cleaned cookies, cache and everything, started again, reloaded - there is no bug anymore. Tried several times, no bug.

Update: something is not right, I'll keep digging

Update2: OK, I've narrowed it to only one option :) 

Started a new game. Saved, loaded, got the bug. Cleared cookies and cache only, started again, got the bug. Cleared cookies+cache+login information, got the bug. Cleared cookies+cache+login+form & search history, started again, the bug is gone. So it looks like "form & search history" is to blame. Hope it helps :)

Hi again! I think you're right and the problem is indeed with browser settings. My Edge browser has this bug, I tried Chrome on the same laptop, the bug is still here, I tried Firefox on a different laptop - still positive, then I checked Safari on my iPhone  - and the bug is gone! My wild guess is that it has something to do with Autofill option, it's On in all my browsers and is Off in Safari (because I almost never use it lol)

The personality counters bug is still there though. More detailed, it looks like this: if your Compassion is 10, you choose an option which gives +1 to Compassion and open the personality card - Compassion is set to 11, close the card and open it again and Compassion is 12, close, open again - and it's 13 and so on and so on. Basically you can set a personality counter to 100 just by opening and closing the card repeatedly.  Hope it helps!

Hi, I managed to replicate it several times.

My MC is a short blight user with blue eyes and blonde hair (curly), pronouns are She/Her, "obnoxious do-gooder". The magic reset happens somewhere between "You tentatively knock" and "Panic oh God panic". Not sure if a save time matters. In the last try I saved on the screen with the last lines "Luckily your box is silent." and reloaded on the next screen. Oh, and I use Edge browser, just for an information)

By the way, while trying to replicate the magic reset I've got somehow eyes color reset to brown, hair color to black (still curly) and pronouns to They/Them. Not 100% positive though, could be I just forgot to set it, being fixated on a magic :) I can try to replicate it later if necessary.

Also not sure thing, but it could depend on how often or at what moment I check the personality card, because the magic reset happened when I went directly to the Tahita's office without looking in the personality card, and in the case of the (possible) colors and pronouns reset I checked the card almost at every screen. But it's only a suggestion,  can also try to replicate, when I have time if you still need it :)

Update: just reloaded the game at the screen where Tahira and MC are staying in front of the club (after making a choice "Distract her"). The magic type resets from Blight to Flame.

Update 2: a couple of other things. First, in the CEO building after "Like someone is trying to open the door without you hearing it." the next screen (with variants "Evade" and "Check who is it") stays for about 1 or 2 seconds and then switches to the next screen automatically. It is still possible to make a choice if you fast enough :) Not sure if it's a bug or you intended it like this. Second, the Irritability, Compassion and probably Charisma counters. When one of them goes up - it will go up every time you open the personality card, and other counters will go down.

Being vertically challenged myself I totally find this joke funny :)

By the way, I stumbled upon another possible bug, looks like the magic type resets to fire after reload.

Hi, just tried a new version and it looks like there are some bugs in there. First, MC name sometimes resets to default (Quinn Reid) after reload and all saved files are automatically renamed to Quinn Reid. Not sure if there is a pattern, but it probably happens after MC meets Tahira. Second, after MC comes home (screen "Home, 04:00") there is a one-time-loop if you chose  an option "schnitzel". I mean, after that option the same screen comes again, and next time proceeds further. Not sure about other options, didn't check it. Also, could be a minor inconsistence in the personal card ("FROM THE DESK OF AGENT CALRIN CHOI"). My MC has curly hair, short height and standard pronouns, but is described as "diverse hair texture, vertically challenged, non-standard pronouns". "Vertically challenged" seems legit, two others traits - probably not :)

Update: the name reset stops after reaching the root part. Also "Body type" is definitely broken, there is a message "The (set:) macro's 1st value is the boolean value 'false', but should be a VariableToValue (a 'to' or 'into' expression)." 

Don't want to sound critical, but - I hope it's not too late to change the name of "Koslov Tchaikovsky". You see,  Koslov and Tchaikovsky are both slavic male second names. And everybody deserves to have a proper first name :)

Hi! A question if I may.

Do these dialogue choices (like "snarky" or "sincery" or any others) have consequences or they are purely cosmetic? Can they totally ruin relationship between MC and other characters and lock them out of romance?

Also, just a thought. I played the Steam version, and this last episode - I'd say it's perfect for the "people-oriented" MC, but looks a little bit out of character for the "task-oriented" MC.  I mean, it's a very emotional part, but task-oriented would be less emotional and more calculating, no? Sorry, don't want to sound critical :)

Would be nice to have "Hates forced pacts and tries to break every one of them" in Principles and Beliefs. Or "Never breaks a promise even if it is coerced" :)

By the way, Phaedra is my love at first sight. Don't know why, she is probably only an episodic character and MC has no future with her, but still.  At least I flirted with her :)

Hi, just some thoughts after finishing Episode 2.

Have you ever considered to implement MC's reaction on NPC's actions? Something like already existing Companion or Factions reactions on MC's words / actions but mirrored. Mmmm probably would require a personality description in the Character creation part, like MC who likes honesty will be disappointed with people lying to them or MC who treasures a personal freedom will hate coercion and so on. Well little late for that at this state and probably don't really necessary because of a self-insertion. Anyway, just wanted to share the thought.

Also, defiance choices in dialogs / actions maybe? Occurred to me when I saw the option "shave it" in the hairdressing scene. Like - to shave your head just out of spite, or to break your sword in half instead of letting some dirty paws to touch it. Probably too much trouble to implement and too little profit to get, yet again - just a thought :)

BTW really nice Episode 2, found a character to whom I totally going to give the artefact (together with MC's body and soul) after I'll break the pact with the Guild. Not sure if they really need it though. The artefact I mean :)

Are there more than two dead ends???

A small bug in the second day's MedBay visit.

As I understand,  phrases "It's not like that (diplomatic)", "What is your problem (confrontational)" and "You need to relax sometimes (flirt)" should be choice buttons, but they are in the text field instead.

I just did it! I recruited the girls, it was awesome! And scary and heartbreaking but also awesome! Love the game so much!

Had a question nagged me since the playthrough, remembered it at last :)

When you're in the Cove - is it possible to lost the bet with Aeran? I tried to reload several times, but it's always win. Would be fun to owe him a secret or a favor.

So glad that the project is alive! A nice surprise with a room inside the horror place. And looks like the girl's portraits are changed. I didn't get a dead end and didn't try to recruit the girls yet, but definitely will do it :)

Also - can't enter the Contest due to absolute inability to draw, but I have a suggestion - there is nothing under that veil, it's just walking clothes. mmm hands could be gloves, right? :D

As I remember, the red book gives one more way to get a key for the club room. The stone is only needed for the ritual, probably it will have some impact to the walkthrough in future versions.

So very nice IF, definitely will wait for next chapters :D

I played selfish and impulsive b*tch, who hates everyone who force something on her, but honors obligations taken willingly. So I took the Chalice and wanted to give it to Hera. After the scene at the Count's villa mages told me that I have no means to leave the city - but I have one in fact! Hera promised to give me a ship if I bring her the Chalice, and I was going to do exactly that! But there was no such choice in the dialogoe tree.

Sorry, don't want to sound critical, just a mention :)

Not sure thing that they are dead. It easy could be an illusion to break Kat's mind. We'll wait and we'll see.

As I remember, you can give the red notebook back even if you steal the key. I think there are two options here - if you give it back before cutting her hair, she just calls Kat "weirdo". If you cut her hair first - I think she calls Kat b**ch.

Well, question was about MC's pregnancy.  To be pregnant and to have not even suspicion - that should be a pretty early term. And after seeing so many beautiful romantic scenes with Alwenn - I really hope that happened before their relationship bloomed (yeah I know I'm hell of oldfasioned :D ). Hence the question about the world size. Heroes must travel very fast to MC still have no idea about her pregnancy at Final chapter.  But probably warlocks have it different for all I know :D

And the second question - how Elius know about MC's pregnancy?

Great game, totally love it! But... but... please tell me that these are very small kingdoms and there are very fast means to travel between them.  I mean - I (as MC, not real me :)) just tell Alwenn that I love her and there is no other and after that - you know, it's really; REALLY hard not to notice that you're cosplaying an old typewriter :D

And - how the hell did Elius know about that?

No other endings at the moment I think. It's a Demo. We have to patiently wait a full game. Or an update at least.

Let me translate:

This game make me go nuts. I want more games like this in the future!!!!

My 10 cents, if I may.

I run V3.1 from the beginning to see what is changed and I stumble upon the very, VERY unsettling thing which I overlooked previosly.
OmG, the MC's dearest sister knew about the coup! She totally knew that and she gave MC the music box and called them strong and survivor and so on! So... so Vexx probably worked with her and not with the usurper Whatever-his-name-was. And then something went wrong and the usurper won and then... Well, still can't forgive Vexx. Never. Just impossible.

My first bet was that she came to the school several years after the ritual took place and now investigates Kat's disappearance.

Now I have a second bet - she is one of previous victims of the ritual, who found her way into that creepy mansion (explains the creepy pictures on the walls too) and now lives there alongside with other victims (like hooded person at the picture) because it looks like there is no escape from this hellish place. Just looks like, not really.

I played as human. The Human Queen was described as beautiful but vain and selfish. And she definitely not hated life at the palace.

Anyway, 11 children - it's a lot even for three mother.

Now I feel myself stupid :D   There was an information in the game that MC's mother was the first wife, and with MC being youngest I assumed that all 11 had one mother. Totally missed the fact that King could have several wives at once :D

The situation with Vexx is absolutly dead end in my eyes. If you really hate somebody - it stops only when your life stops. and hate is one and only feeling for Vexx.  Damon could be valid with different MC personality - if instead of neglected loner she growed up as cold and calculating b**ch, so she could see Damon as bird of feather and use him for her own devices (and his demise - noir vibes here, I think) . And June - I just don't know. To even speak willingly with character who outright hates her - MC must have a really low self-esteem.

Couple of thoughts if I may.

As lot of people here already said - would be really wonderful to be able just flip haters off as one of the option. All haters - from those on A6 to (potential) subjects who silently approved the murder of the MC's family. Just take revenge and go gambling and drinking (happily or bitterly) afterwards. Would help to vent some frustration out. ;) 

Would be great as well to have a possibility to chose the characters you want or don't want to speak. zB like in previous chapter we can chose who exactly knocks in the MC's door.  At this point players probably already know which route to follow, so it's not necessary to speak with them all. Adds a possibility for different walkthrougs too, to learn all backgrounds.


Add/Edit:  a late thought. I think, the Queen character is really out of place. Beautiful, vain and selfish - and has 11 children? No way. More likely she must be silensed and opressed by the King.

Oh mein Gott, Lacie probably investigate if there is a truth behind an urban legend about Kat's disappearance! Now I'm really worried about Kat. (/_\)

Why not? That's the matter of perception. She was manipulated by her mother "for her own good" without her concent and now she is manipulated ones more "for her own good" without her consent. She could totally refuse to be manipulated, leave Märchen and fade to obscurity as "bad ending", or she could understand her mother's mistakes and wrongdoings but still refuse to be manipulated again, just tough the curse out till her 18th birthday and some day become an Ice Queen with her rule driven not by kindness and compassion but by duty and "Noblesse oblige" as "good ending". To be her own person - even if it means to stay cold and distand - not necessary means to be evil you know ;)

And you can cut the happy green plants with the scissors and make them not very happy :) Pity you can't make a lot of beautiful paper cranes from the red math notebook's pages :)

Thank you for the update! Got some errors in the forest. The Ent encounter - the button "The youngest" is inactive (probably a placeholder, no?) And several screens are bugged: if I understand correctly, "Collapsed grow", "Quiet End", "Stump" and "Spring".

Love the mushroom ring :)

By the way, did you change the insults in the purring dog encounter? I like the old ones better, but it's up to you of course.

Love the game :) Good to see it still going.

Had some problems though:

License office is bugged from the moment when you got the license and turn to leave. There is a couple of glitched text bubbles after that, a long error message and a dead end in the end.

There is also a dead end when you go to the deep forest.

Also the game is stopped after only two ingame days. Is that because of Demo or just incorrect counter?

Great game really. Could be even better it there was a couple of endings for the MC who decided to stay cold and bitter. Pity I didn't catch the game in the development to make a suggestion :D
