Those character designs and animations are top notch! The music, title screen, and overall presentation was great.

Wow! Blown away, so much polish in this thing. I love the little touches like how you used the full color palette to add a bit of anti-aliasing to your text and HUD. The damage and death VFX are great. Everything has great feedback, the sprite and tile work is top notch, even unfinished and dead end areas you took the time to spell out "THE END" or "WIP" to communicate to the player.
I'm only sad that there isn't more.
You're not missing anything. This isn't much more than a test bed for character moment and abilities with a start screen added to it. When it became clear that my work on improving the brawl module wasn't going to be in a playable state in time for the deadline, I spent the last few days frantically getting something simple to submit. I worked right up to the wire trying to get a custom enemy, and rough level layout, but I ran out of time and had to submit what I had finished.
I'll flesh it out a little more in the coming weeks.
