Hi Sarah, I find it very interesting how you created the alien sound effects based off of related inspiration for their designs. That sounds like a very fun and creative way to develop unique and engaging soundscapes for each type, and I'm excited to hear what other variations were created.

It's amazing to see every your dialog system getting used for new purposes! I hope it turns out to be a great asset for this assignment.
On the part that your characters might be lacking a bit of emotion given that they're not using dynamic sprites there could be some easy work arounds for this that would work as affordances other than pure text. For example you could put a blue filter or multiple the sprite image to blue to convey sadness, or you could have the image translate and rotate slightly to show excitement. Other aspects are little exclamation marks, question marks, dots, etc appearing on the sprite. This way assets can be modular instead of singularly built into each one.
I'm looking forward to seeing further progress on your game!
This is awesome! I wasn't aware you were making sheet music along with your compositions. I love all the attention and thoughtfulness you put into crafting the details surrounding each piece, along with learning about your struggles with the importation process. Your art also turned out great, I can't wait to see how the game will look with everything in it.
Hi Tian, very interested in your thoughts about new gameplay elements and developing the narrative. There's a lot to interact with in the topic so I'm sure there's a lot we can do. On the topic of forgetting what you need to do, I think we're all in a similar state at the moment so I wouldn't stress over it too much, but it's always good to change your methods and try new things. Hope it works out well!
I love that you're already setting up meeting times, and I agree that it's important to try and find a time that works for everyone. At times where you can't find a time that works, or if members are too busy, I highly recommend having someone create jot notes about the meetings topics and keeping them in a shared space for the team. It's handy not only for the members missing, but gives you something to look back on for reference of ideation.
It's a great idea to use calendar apps for scheduling, especially ones that let you sync up with other people. Being able to match schedules with your group members to find dates that work for meetings and milestones is a big plus. I also like that you're splitting your workload between multiple days, it sounds very effective as I'm currently in the 'do it in one go' mentality.
There is definitely a lot you can do in relation to cyber security, I especially like the idea of remote hacking into cars. It could make a very fun experience having the player hack into cars with remote driving capabilities, and then swapping to a different one to avoid obstacles. I look forward to seeing what you end up deciding on as a topic!
I think that making a game to inform individuals about how to properly conduct first aid is an amazing idea! If you can find a way to make it both fun, informative, and concise it definitely would be a very impactful gameplay experience. I also like how you mentioned knowing the laws in regard to assisting someone in need of medical attention as it plays a large part in both an individual's willingness to help, but allows for a quicker response time for civilian assistance.
