Oh Sound design is one of my favourite parts, it really does bring it all together. Its a really good base to work from, keep working on it and I look forward to seeing how you progress!

Hi TheHairyDizz, Thank you for checking out my game. I'm glad you enjoyed it and liked the thing I liked implementing. I too feel I need to cater for other controllers and Keyboard and mouse, I am currently sat implementing this feature right now. I'm glad it wasnt too taxing and you could enjoy the game as intended. I wonder, how many items did you find? Thank you for your feedback. All the best.

I want to echo what Multivitae has said about the game. I can see some great potential here. I agree with the level design, remember to block off the areas you don't want you player to wonder off to.

Audio is 100% missed in the game, even if it was a simple SFX added to the axe swing. I liked the AI and how they take damage, maybe a loot system or if they dropped health instead of being able to regen your health, I just ran to the end and took all the AI on in one go simply knowing I can just regen at the end of it. This gave the impression the enemy are easy to kill and not a huge threat.

It was a good challenge to get a game made in 2 weeks and you have made an amazing start to something here. Keep working away at it and update it regularly to make a fun game to be played by many. I too look forward to what you can achieve with this. Congrats.

Hi! Thank you for playing and providing me with your feedback. I myself also enjoyed the camera perspective and I am happy I stuck with that choice. I did toy with the idea of removing the timer, however this was the only option I could think about to make the game replay able in the short term. The timer does pause when the widgets open, so you have time to take in the historic information. Well done for finding 10! I did make some tricky to find again in aim for reply ability value. I do like the virtual augmented reality elements and make add something along these lines in a future version. Again thank you for you kind words and constructive feedback. All the best.

Hello again, Sorry to put you out of your way with the gamepad option. I shall make sure to cater for Keyboard and Mouse for future entries. Thank you for your interest, I will make sure you get to play the game at some point. Thank you

Hey Solo Ghost, its actually on my to do list for this evening. I have managed to make my way through the other submissions. I shall be sure to comment and give feedback. All the best and thanks for reaching out.

I did play with controller as it made the camera smoother. Oh that's really good of you, sorry you had to go out your way to buy a gamepad, I design all my games for gamepad tbh. However, its now apparent I may have a bigger audience to think about.  If not, I shall make some changes to a future release of the game to be PC friendly.

Thank you for this, I followed this last night and removed several plug-ins (thinking they weren't needed), after the restart, the game wouldn't load in unreal. I had to create a new project but then fell into errors when trying to package the project. It's all learning though.

I shall keep this in mind for a future release.

Hello All,

So it seems my Unreal didn't like me wanting to package my game. I think I have spent around 8 hours trying to figure out how to package the game correctly to be able to upload it here to Itch. After all the pain, I settled with the external link to google drive.

I hope you get chance to play the game now and enjoy it as much as I did creating it.

This is my first time doing the below,

- Packaging a game
- Joining Itch.io and uploading content
- Joining Discord
- Joining a GameJam

This has all been learning, even if I have pulled the remainder of my hair out haha I hope the future game jam entries will be a lot less stressful and on time.

I would like to say a big thank you for those who have helped with my packaging issues. And those of you kind enough to comment.

I have enjoyed playing all your games. Stay Creative!

I shall give it another go with the gamepad :) Pretty impressive work to be done by yourself. I look forward to seeing what Matt has to say about the entries if he makes a video about it or posts on here etc. Stay on the grind.

Oh amazing! I shall give it another go. I don't really PC game (you may notice my game is designed around a PlayStation controller) but I have enjoyed everyone's entries using a keyboard a mouse so far :) How many of you worked on the project? I didn't have any help with mine, but it was all good fun.

Great little game, nice idea and the level streaming concept has sparked some creative ideas for myself. Great team effort on this one. Are you going to develop this any further? All the best

Really nice game, I wasn't sure how to ring the bell at first haha, Plenty to explore and lots crammed into world with just the two week window. Great stuff!

Really nice game, very inspiring top down view, I very rarely play games like this. It was intriguing to see your level design and has given plenty of food for thought. Great sound design! It would be good for you to add to this, maybe a mobile game version would be good to work on? Amazing work! Than you for creating the game and helping others like myself.

I really like the idea of the block puzzle. I loved the audio of the cassettes, great touch. I was fun exploring the ruins and it was nice to try and find the hidden treasure. Great turn around for a two week window. With the physics, from a learning perspective, does anyone know how to make it so things do not fly away when the player collides with the actor. I was cool seeing you had physics enabled but sending them barrels flying at the start was fun. I also came across so trouble when standing on a physics actor the character went crazy! haha all good fun though, are you going to add to this? Thanks

Great atmosphere, lovely sound effects, great use of a camera feature. I really liked how you had the light guiding the player through the woodland. I wasn't quite sure what to do though and ran around aimlessly. haha Great job for the time frame we had.

Nice little game, I agree with others here. Combat was great but I didn't understand the objective, nor could I find any more than 4 people to arrest? I think you have done amazing, especially with the 2 week time frame! I think with a little bit more time, you could iron out the issues others have pointed out. My personal favourite thing is the cyber environment, the Smokey atmosphere, and the Mechs standing proud. Great job! Thank you

Where can we play this game?

It really does have that feeling and would be great to play with the additional horror vibe to it.

It is, but worth it. Especially when we can catch up on sleep haha. I will test your game either tonight or tomorrow :) Looking forward to seeing what others have created.

I really liked the vibe of this, I am not sure what's wrong with me tonight but again another game I was expecting a jump scare. Really great atmosphere with this game. Simple layout of the level as well. Favourite part was drifting off into space as I jumped from the door haha. Great stuff! Please add to it in future.

Nice little level, you could definitely add to this. I did enjoy the bath part, reminds me a little of Max Payne or something similar. I was 100% expecting a jump scare or a girl in a white dress to show up haha. Great vibes either way, thanks.

For sure! Thank you, I have actually managed to package it now. I haven't used itch.io before nor discord, so this is a whole new level of learning, but I am enjoying it and would like to be more involved with the community.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to package my game in time. I put a lot of hard work into this for everyone's enjoyment but was defeated last moment by a dreaded Unknown Error when trying to package my game.  Have fun all, and well done to those who managed to submit on time.
