Thank you so much! And don't worry, I keep dying too, haha. Just 8 levels though, so keep going! Thanks again for playing!

Gorgeous, gorgeous game. Controls are a little touch-and-go, the button bindings also feel fairly unintuitive. But, I would put up with it all just to get more of this game into my eyeballs. Would still like the controls to become more responsive/easier, though! :P
Can't wait for it to become a whole, full-fledged game!
I'm so sorry about that :/ it's an issue we're aware of, the main menu isn't scaled properly for lower resolution screens. We've fixed it, but I can't publicly link you to our latest build during the jam, it's against the rules. I'm again really sorry that you took the time to try our game, but couldn't play it.
This game is so charming! I love the little walking animations that all the pets have. So adorable.
One thing I noticed, though, I could get all the pets to follow me by moving step by step and get them onto the carpet without ever using a single treat. Maybe don't make them auto-follow? That way you need to use the treats to get them to do what you want. Alternatively, you could make it so that each animal type has a different behaviour, for example dogs could aggressively follow you around, cats could be really aloof and not care about your presence at all and you have to use treats to get them to follow, and hamsters could be scared and try to hide, and you have to find them, use treats and lure them in.
A technical issue I noticed was if more than one pet is following you and they overlap, the audio gets really jittery, I assume it's because the audioplayer is getting a little confused as to which source takes precedence. It's not that big a deal.
I know it seems like I've said a lot of stuff, but I really liked this one, it was really cute, great entry, well done!
This is such an interesting perspective, and the joined beam of visibility concept is genius. Made me feel like a kid again, playing Pokémon, trying to get through that cave without Flash. The music made me feel at times like I was in some blockbuster.
Had a strange issue in level 7, though, where I was able to walk off the edge of the floor in a specific spot and just float around over the darkness.
Overall, great entry, excellent work!
This game stretched the limits of what even my long, bony fingers could do. Really cool idea, and gorgeous art work. The music and sounds are also great. The voice over sounded damn near professional for a jam game.
A couple things, though:
- Feedback for succeeding or failing at the key prompts could be a little more pronounced. The record scratch was neat, but you could make it a little less subtle, and maybe even add some visual flair with celebratory particle effects when getting it right or something.
- Sometimes, the letter shapes coonfused me, I couldn't distinguish Us from Vs, or Ds from Os, if you can give the alphabet a more distinct, unambiguous shape, that'll also be great.
Overall, excellent concept and great job on the execution, this is an awesome entry!
Wow, this is such a cool game! The puzzles are so inventive and the platforming is really fun, I would definitely love to play more. It helps that the crab is adorable, the entire game is, honestly. I think a nice chiptune track and some quirky SFX can add a lot more personality. Great work overall, loved this submission!
You're absolutely right, the risk vs. reward of detaching could definitely use an update. And your other suggestions are also things that will make our game better, so thank you for the great ideas! And thank you for the kind words. I'm really glad you noticed the quips, because that was my primary/only contribution, lol!
That's some really valuable feedback, thank you for taking the time to play our game and write down your thoughts! We will definitely take another pass at making the detachment feel more rewarding, and make it a necessary part of gameplay. We'll add some depth to the tuning and balancing of items and asteroids for sure. Thanks again for the feedback!
What you're saying makes a lot of sense! I think I agree that we should reconsider the score increasing for just surviving, it would necessitate that the player actually engage with the mechanics in order to earn points. Thanks for the detailed feedback! Really appreciate it, hope you enjoyed playing our game!
Holy shit! The polish is insane! And the physics are fantastic! It's so intuitive to control and handles like a dream. The feeling of not knowing which direction is up in space is just so brilliantly translated to a 2D game space. It's just such an incredible experience to play. Lovely work! This makes me think I'd play the hell out of an immersive 3D space sim, where literally the entire gameplay is going from point to point and tightening bolts or something. Great entry!
Those are great ideas! Scaling difficult was actually something we wanted to implement, but we didn't have the time for it during the jam. The control scheme, again, we ideated around it, but in the end, we had only enough time to pick one and make sure it was functional. Thank you for playing our game and for the thoughtful ideas for improvements, really appreciate it!
