I love the soothing atmosphere! The sprites and sounds are great. I think it takes too many hits to kill the mobs though. And I wished the text at the beginning showed up a little faster.

Very cute. I like the mechanics of the potions and the mushrooms. I didn't get past the first level though. Something about the physics feels off. And the level was too hard while still getting used to the controls. Would be nice to include W as an option for jump, and the arrow keys as an alternate (for those of us with tendinitis.) Also, some of your Settings controls are conflicting with browser controls - ESC closes fullscreen, Ctrl + W closes browser tab.
Thanks so much! I did add a hint about how to use the cheat codes in itch page text, but maybe I should add something in game too. I like the way you found it though - you had the secret knowledge!
I totally agree about the sound and tunnels. I had lots more plans for them, but I ran out of time. I am wondering if I should remove the down arrow, to keep players on the surface longer.
You're the first person to mention the lack of music! Truth is, I like to play this type of game while watching tv, so the first thing I usually do is turn the music off. (Don't hate me!) That's why I decided to leave it out for now. Though, some ambient low-fi would be perfect. Maybe I'll add it down the road.
Thanks rchava! You're right, I will add space bar as a jump option. The multi-colour themes are colour coded, so each type of object (platform, coins, mobs, background art) have their own colour. I did this to make it more clear and accessible, because yes, it's trickier to tell what's what in the monochromatic themes.
I'm looking for feedback please :)
