The steering wheel might be a bit harder to balance. Because the way it is now, it lets you do small adjustments while looking at the road. If I put it entirely down then you lose that small advantage. I will have to figure how to fix that issue. And the gearbox is fault of the visible model not matching the hitboxes.

I think you could jump with the up key (w/up arrow) and have the shoot and the hability next to each other. Maybe H and J.

I tried to explain the controls on the description of the game. Because I had no time to do a simple tutorial inside the game lol.

The presentation of the game is amazing, however the execution of the idea could be better. The virtual aberrator is quite original but it has a lot of problems. Most of it come to the design of the levels, like how you end up jumping into the ceiling while is red or fall into a pit that kills you. Or simply how you just forget that you are standing on the blue floor and end up dying. The mapping of the keys on keyboard makes the issue worse. You are trying to understand the controls and the game usually asks for fast reaction times, which is hard to do with the unusual keys. Also, the enemies shoot the instant they see you and there's little time to dodge or react.

Still, the game is very charming and has a lot of potential!

I have to say that the Chromatic Aberration part was really clever. Although the bosses feel a bit pointless because you can mash the attack button and kill them eventually without any stategy or something. The puzzles were the best part without any doubt. Simple yet they use the unique mechanic pretty well.

And the controls is something I will definitely fix after this is over. They are supposed to be clunky and weird but they should feel fair and responsive. They are not and is something I should have spent more time on.

I knew that was one of the main issues, however I spent the time trying to fix some errors with the car controller (which I couldn't do 100%) and the map. I made so many mistakes on how I managed the time that I barely could put something playable together before the deadline. The model and actual colliders are things I plan to fix once the jam is over. I know it can be frustrating because I always have to remember you can't rely on what you see.

I haven't heard of that game. Thank you for sharing it. It looks fairly similar to mine haha.
And maybe you are right, I still need to make the controls more responsive and make the mesh more in-line with what's going on behind scenes.

Well, you have to select three custom words that will customize the email and the enemies. Then try to write the email as close as the example as you can, and then hit send to spawn the enemies. The idea is to kill the trash can so your spamming attemps succed.

I will also update the description to try and explain as better as I can the game.

Yeah, the mechanics are a little weird and we didn't have time to do a tutorial. But is good to hear that you had fun playing it!

This feels like a horror story a five year old would tell, and the artstyle really helps to sell that. The fishermen were a bit hard to do, maybe because you have to do 25 without fail, but overall a pretty solid game.

Cool game and the theme was well incorporated. The only thing is that the ammo counter was easy to miss so you can find yourself with no bullets and the screen full of enemies

I really like the use of theme here, very creative

It reminds me of a flash game where you have to roll a rectangular prism so it fits in a hole. Is nicely done, the cutscene and music really adds to the atmosphere and the fact that you actually used the fact that you are rolling a dice makes the puzzles more interesting

We had planned to add more but time was not enough, also finding the balance of the speed of which the catchers move and the speed of the throws was pretty hard. Seems we need to make some tweaking after the jam ends

Interesting concept, feels like a table top game but rpg or something like that
Sadly I just got two types of events so the game was not as fun to play, plus is hard to predict where you will land since the only cue you get is the dice roll

Still, good job!

It sometimes feels unfair because of the ammount of stuff the golden dice throws at you, but that's how rng works

The game was pretty creative, changing abilities and activating them in a big group of enemies is fun

But you get easily swarmed by enemies as the game goes on, so is more and more dificult to see the dice and activate them

Is an interesting concept and the game looks really good and polished. For some reason the BGM stops and the SFX are too loud, also after you play for some time you start to mix where is right and left. Maybe add something so you can distinguish more easily.

The use of the theme really hurts the game. There are times where you stand there doing nothing. I also didn´t see clear indications when I can attack. A visual hint would be usefull. But I like the idea in general, maybe polish the theme after the jam!

Thanks for the comments! We planned to have a map, explain better the mechanics, multiple endings... But at the end that's what we could do. Maybe in the future, when the jam ends, we will update it.
