Thank you very much for the feedback.  I do agree that the map needed more unique landmarks.  As often is the case, time was the factor in making more assets to help with that.

Story wise, none of our team were really writers, so we struggled with that part a bit.  If we had more time, maybe adding additional animations and camera movement would have added a bit more to the them.

Our artist made the cave tree very large so you could see it above all the others on the map.  I guess a short cut-scene with camera movement toward it at start could have helped with giving direction to the player.

Thank you for taking the time to play and leave the detailed feedback! 👍

Thank you very much for the feedback.  I agree that the sniff hint system needed work.  It was a last minute item that was needed a bit more refinement.  Always is the question about adding more fixes/refinement or moving on to the next one.  Cheers

Really liked the cozy feeling at night.  The light from the characters eyes/mouth was a nice touch.  Couldn't find any gameplay, but could see that turned into something bigger.  Good job at finishing the jam.

Nice game, liked the art style and colors.  Would have been neat to see grass move/flatten as you drive around.  I also had little trouble seeing boundary fences/etc.  When driving off pier into water, the game should likely end?  Controls were nice and I liked the tutorial text in-game.  Good job on finishing the game.

Nice idea, game has a nice vibe and animations.  I struggled with controls/wind aspect sadly and couldn't get very far into it.  Great to see a fellow godot user! :)  Congrats on finishing the jam and good luck.

Really loved the animations and steps in making a pie.  The character got a bit stuck on doors and objects so might need some tweaking.  I don't know if it is a bug or not, but I had no sound/music.  Running on Linux with wine.  Good job on finishing the jam.

Art style is very nice, loved the run animation.   Would have liked a little faster run speed while looking not only when you find mushrooms.  Wasn't sure where the santa slay sounds and laugh came from?   Looks like a bunch of content for a jam game.  Oh, and not only a fellow Godot user but maybe another kiwi? :)    Great job.

Very nice touch with main menu/play transition.  Art style is nice, though could use with some particles or effects when you get the answers correct.  Nice job on your entry.

Really enjoyed the look of the game.  Seems very polished.  However, I'm on Linux and visual impaired and a hard time with UI and game window.  (It couldn't go fullscreen and was small/hard to read.)  Still gave you a good rating as it looked fun.  Nice job.

Nice idea, art style is great too.  I'm visual impaired and bit disabled and really had a super hard time clicking in time to get what I needed.  (planting/watering/etc)  Great take on the concept, though a setting for easier game would be improvement.  Congrats on finishing the jam.

Nice art style.  Loved the animations when you get to grow.  Would have been helpful for either the checkpoint glow to stay or some effects to indicate you where on the fence you could break it.  Overall very cute game, nice job.

Really enjoyed the visual style and colors.  The map was nice, though would have liked a bit of sprint to get around.  Level design was very nice and had good use of objects to break it up. (Little wood plank bridge was nice touch)  Great job.

Always nice to see a fellow 3D Godot user.  Sadly, I tried to play your game but it crashes on Linux using wine.   As you noted, the html build doesn't work either.  Would have liked to give it a proper try, sorry.  If possible for your next jam, please consider adding a Linux export.  Neat idea, gave you some points anyway. :)

Thanks for the kind words and feedback.  Glad you enjoyed the game. 🦝

Thank you very much for the kind words.  I'm thrilled you enjoyed the game and pleased you took the time to give the wonderful feedback. 🦝

Thanks for the video.  It's really good to see what worked and didn't.  From your video it seems I could have made the sniff function a  bit clearer as it looked like you were having a hard time with that.  Glad you enjoyed the game.

Very cute, nice idea.  The sound was very distorted for me on Linux/Firefox.  Love to see another Godot game.  Congrats on finishing the jam.

Very nice entry.  Love the vibe... I almost gave I stepped on a bee customer a bee coffee... for reasons.   Oh, and thanks for the $1 from the tip jar. Congrats on your entry.

Very cute, good humor.  Wasn't sure what to pick, but mostly got it by third try.  Congrats on finishing the jam.

Nice job, very cute.  Wish you didn't have to restart the whole game after picking wrong choice at end?  Congrats on finishing the jam. ☕☕☕

Hey, very sorry to hear that.  Did you try turning off all the settings under graphics?  Also, try keeping it in windowed mode.  Either way thanks for giving it a try.

Nice work, very chill and relaxing vibe.  Had some trouble with the UI and selecting the wrong dialog.  Lighting and firelies was nice.

Really neat idea.  Like the book for collecting leaves.  I had some trouble getting leaves, sometimes couldn't pick them up and they disappeared way too fast.  Neat concept, good job.

Hope everyone enjoys the game, good luck all.

I /think/ that had done that by running to the zone on the other side.  But wasn't really sure what was going on there to be honest.

Really liked the synthwave music.  Font was very difficult for me to read as I'm visually impaired.  I couldn't tell if you gave controls anywhere so had to figure it out by mashing buttons.  Took me a bit find middle mouse for magic.  Nice entry, congrats.

I made it, only saved one guy though. :)  I wasn't quite sure why they kept dying either... I was in kitchen making food at full level and they still died as they went by grabbing some.  Nice artwork and controls were easy.  Good job and congrats on your entry.

Thank you for the feedback.  I do agree that more sound effects would bring things to life.  I've got heaps of other ideas to add just ran out of time.  Glad you enjoyed it and took the time for comment/rating.

Thank you very much for the kind feedback.  I used festival (Linux CLI text-to-speech package), voice  cmu_us_slt_arctic_hts and a custom script I wrote takes pasted lines of text and outputs a wav file.   That wav was then combined with the original text into a custom godot "Resource" class for subtitles and audio.

That intro was amazing.  Really well done.  The controls... were very difficult for me to use.  I couldn't make it far into first level.  Maybe after your tongue attaches, left button to pull and right to left out?  Really solid entry, good job.

Tried the download but it was mac only.  Need linux/window builds per rules.  Or maybe html5 next time?  Sorry, cannot rate.

I liked the pixelated post-process/shader for the viewport.  I found the controls were bit hard to use.  I couldn't aim where I wanted to as it kept snapping to 90  degrees.  I would have liked the camera to be higher up as behind the player while aiming was impossible to see my target.  Congrats on your submission.

Hey neat submission.  I played up until finding the game console, but kept running into a bug where dialog would retrigger over and over when pressing F once.  Firefox on Linux btw.  I couldn't interact with merchant then to progress anymore.  Congrats on your entry and good luck.

Thanks!  Yes, it was just me.   Thanks for the feedback and/or rating. :D

I'm glad you enjoyed it.  Yeah, I wanted to add the keep feature but ran out of time.  I think having a clear all button would be good as well.  So many ideas and so little time.   Thanks for the feedback

Maybe I missed something, but was there a way to lose?  I got 8 levels and all upgrades never seeing any losing condition.  I'd recommend having the items not overlap each other when spawning.  Made it hard to see what was really there.  Congrats on your submission.

The controls are great.  The bullet speed is good for me, not too fast or slow.  Nice tradeoff for item choices.  Only suggestion is adding a few more pixels to some of the fonts for easier reading. Congrats on your submission.

Thanks for the feedback.  I did plan on having a more sandbox style gameplay for later levels, just ran out of time.  Will consider adding another camera method for next version.
