I put the revival mechanic in early when I was going to have the day-night cycle and left it at a low number for testing. I then promptly forgot about it.

I overscoped trying to make Pyramida in 3D and had never worked with animation state machines before, so it took a lot longer to get any visuals working, so I ran out of time. And yeah, a little sharp for skopop. I started working on a visual filter but forgot about it until Sunday :P.

Definitely agree with smoldering. Nailed it. I can see what you were trying to do with the character’s walk, though it doesn’t look like it worked. Combat was wonky, though perhaps appropriately.

This feels like a proper Sokpop game…except for the corpses that stayed around constantly with the blood. Very fun. Find a way to expand it yourself and you have a good product.

Really cool mechanic! Really difficult to use, especially at the game’s low resolution, but You’ve come up with some neat uses for it.

I think focusing on the skates, but providing a safety ground area, would make for a good larger game reminiscent of the Sonic Advance titles. Layer the levels. Not really a metroidvania and VERY wonky, but a good start.

This would have been so much better if not for the difficulty spikes. Ended up giving up in the tall vertical shaft with spike balls and platforms on both sides. Felt like I needed to come back later, but I couldn’t leave the area.

While rough, I enjoyed seeing someone try to do a 2.5D platformer. I didn’t finish it, but I started thinking about how cool it would be to crawl around in all the smaller spaces like an ancient Egyptian rat.

Neat little puzzle-vania! The game didn’t run well on my laptop, but I pushed through because I was curious about the story. Chilling!

This is very well put together, but I’m going to have to agree with raptor that this game is too hard. I twice got the key and ended up falling into a pit on my way back to the chest, and that’s not counting all the other deaths.

Work out the difficulty and I think you have yourself a candidate for commercial development.

Oh my gosh, thank you for pointing that out. It’s up now.

I think the Controls are unintuitive and keeping a prompt on the game screen would help. I got stuck on level 9, but I feel like that’s more my fault than yours :P . Good work!

We really need an exmplanation of the controls. I don’t know what to do here.
