cute game!

No it's just I've only heard of one other person ever having this issue and they were using a trackpad. I just downloaded and tested it on Firefox and it works fine for me there.

Sorry but I am unsure as to why you are encountering this bug. Very strange. Only 2 people out of the hundreds that have played it have experienced it.

All I can suggest is to try playing it on Chrome or Edge.

This might be an odd question. Are you using a trackpad?

What platform are you trying to play it on?

Yes it's meant to be quite challenging to get ALL the stars. Glad you enjoyed our game :)

Yeah I didn't have lots of time to do testing for WASD.

that was very cute

Our sound guy (Mark) is amazing!

Yeah, the headlines were a last-minute addition but it adds so much to the "feel" of the game.

Myself: Programming and 3D art

My fiancee: UI

A friend: Sound/music.

All assets were original and created during the jam time.

Nice art style. Did you make the assets yourself?

It feels super polished. This is my pick for the winner. Love the "juice" in your game.

Thank you! Our sound/music engineer is very talented.

Fun idea. I immediately got stuck on a railing though haha. Did you make the art yourself?

no matter how little  I tap I can't get down the first hole. I always move over it.

"ANDROID VERSION IS RECOMMENDED."

Maybe just remove the ads for now lol until after the voting is finished.

why would you put ads on a game jam game..?

Thank you!!!!!

Ah. Good job on finishing a game! I would recommend making a web build playable in the browser if you want more ratings/reviews. People much prefer to play in browser than downloading  something.

That truly is the highest praise!

Maybe one day I'll come back to it and make it into a full steam game.

can you upload it to itch properly instead of a dodgy google drive link?

Thank you for your kind feedback. Your comments on my art make me especially happy as it's the first time I've ever drawn art for a game.

"Only thing I didn't like was needing to restart all the levels after losing".

Fair enough, that's a common feature in roguelikes, but yeah I get ya.

Ooh that's a good idea. Might implement it when I come back to this project someday.

already did!

very well polished although a little short

would you consider adding a web build?

the music was good

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

"So I would say to not let I have a fire level and then another fire."

Yeah, that would be something I hope to fix in the future but unfortunately, there's only so much to do in a game jam. It's the first time I have ever drawn all of the art for a game so that took most of my time.

Thank you!

"It did feel like a loss was always going to happen despite what parts you did sometimes saved."

Hmm, what made it feel like that?

The game is pretty much always beatable. Apart from maybe 1 in 10 runs when you get really unlucky parts.

"I don't really like the randomness of the body parts that it gives you"

I get it, however if you were given the same body parts each time there would be no challenge.

" I also felt that being able to see the power levels made it a little too easy"

That's funny. I had other people complaining they had no way to know how strong the enemy was.

Glad you had fun!

Ah! There will always be a bug that slips through. I have patched that now. Thank you.

"so maybe a cool update could be to be able to 'bank' body parts or something"

That's currently how it works. You already save parts between levels that you don't use.

Would you mind uploading a web version?

Any chance of a web version?

no "pillage" option appears when clicking on a village

would you consider making a web build?

Fun little game. I would like the world text to be affected by the shadows though also.

Cool idea, but the buzzing did get quickly annoying.
