How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
The player has a Syringe which is the needle! They are using it as a weapon to defeat the ghost that risen from the dead!

Great Game, I really had fun playing the game, Here is my feedback:

-The music is very relaxing and well-composed. Great job on this part!

-The art style is also very nice and adds a lot to the game’s charm

-The tutorial for the controls is excellent. Many submissions overlook such an important introduction, so kudos for including it

-Nice dialogue at the start, it actually gives a clear goal to the game.

-I also loved The nice big world in the game, Great job!

-The only thing I would suggest is to work on the difficulty of the game, as currently the player has no restrictions or punishments for spamming shooting, the enemies die immediately from one shot, and the enemies slowly damage the player. As a solution for this I would recommend adding different types of enemies or some restrictions for shooting (like a reloading system or requiring ammo or ..etc).

Overall Great game. Great Job, and keep it up!!

Thank you for your feedback I appreciate it lots! I was originally going to add a reloading system for the syringe but some reason I scrapped that idea because I thought it would be too hard? or time? I found a simple way to do it when actually looking so dang really should of. I also thought about having easy, medium and hard mode but scrapped that idea too…I think I thought it would be too much and overboard, I guess. I also forgot to change the vurnuablity for the player since it takes a bit for damage so yeah, I messed up on that part and need to remember not to next time! I also had an idea to have different type of ghost one with red eyes that’s really fast/ one that makes the player slow down :( I had a lot of these ideas but just didn’t do it so dang. Maybe next time I’ll go overboard a little and there might be a better outcome haha.

thank you again! Im happy the tutorial helped because I learned that last time to improve on that part from my last game jam. This advice will definitely help me with the next one for sure!

it’s so sad to hear that you couldn’t implement all of these ideas, it would have really added more depth to the game and I do understand the frustration when time get in the way of implementing all your ideas, however as you mentioned every game jam is a learning experience. Finished in 8:04, collected 477 souls! Very fun game, the map is huge so it takes a while to navigate but I like that! I was worried I'd get lost lol. I also love the music and art, especially the ghosts' movements

The music and art made for an eerie atmosphere, which is very fitting for the setting of the game. I think it was quite funny that the hospital guy could also go through the walls like the ghost lol. Took me a while to realize that I was supposed to escape and not wipe out all the ghosts, and to figure out I could hold down space to shoot lol oops hehe

I took 7:58 and 547 souls after several (accidental) detours to complete the level haha

Overall it was an interesting and enjoyable experience! Well done!

The colliders are a bit iffy, I wanted there to be enough space but next time I'll have it make more sense I think heh. I was going for an eerie atmosphere so I'm glad you perceived it like that! Also yeah forgot to add the part in the game where it should have said (hold down) to shoot! Wrote it in the description but need to get better at tutorials hehe. 

Glad you were able to figure out how to escape!!! Makes me really happy and dang that's a lot of souls!

6 minutes and 326 souls collected later...I have escaped from the ghost infestation XD. I was just taking my time playing with the controls and exploring (definitely didn't get lost). I was wading through an ocean of ghosts near the end, so I was very grateful for the heals. Loved the chill but chaotic vibes. Thanks for the game!<3
