Thanks for the feedback. Haha, I haven't written any code to handle music before and me being me, I usually use low volume for my stuff so I guess I didn't think about how loud it was. I might add a volume warning to the itch page.

And yeah, I considered making the tiles a bit bigger than the player to make it less likely to just fall but never got around to it.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed it and thanks for playing!

Oh, that's a shame. I guess that's what I get for not using a proper engine. Thanks for having a look and trying to play at least.

Just out of curiosity if you don't mind telling me, are you running Windows 10 and if so, do you know if you have the Microsoft .net framework installed? I'm still learning about development in c# and this might have been an oversight of mine.

Really cool game. Had a really good time playing this. I gotta say that I liked the art style here. There's so much detail in such small spaces and it all  just looks amazing.  My two gripes are that I think the guards patrol a little too slowly. There was a little too much standing around waiting  for my liking. Secondly, I think the light switch needed a little more mentioning. I was a bit lost in the into and last level until i discovered it.

Overall, very cool and I'd certainly be happy to see more of this.

I'm amazed this hasn't got more attention already. While I found ties to the restriction to be a little loose, this is an incredibly solid game. The visuals are great, the audio is great, the platforming and upgrades are awesome and feel really good to play.

I played the normal and hard mode and both were lots of fun.

My only criticism right now is that you need an end screen for showing speedrun time properly as well as how many collectibles you got.

Anyhow, Kudos to your team for making this.

The visuals and sound/music are such a great match for this game. It looks and sounds awesome. The platforming was pretty nice for the most part too. Only part I'd tweak would be being able to turn the jetpack back on for the rest of its duration after turning it off mid air just for a more smooth, dynamic experience.

Pretty fun overall. Nice work.

Oh boy. This was... an experience. A very... uncomfortable and disturbing experience.

That aside, it's pretty good.

The visuals are as cool as they are unnerving and the audio is weirdly fitting. That boss' giggle/laugh is going to be stuck in my head the the next few days.

The game's not overly difficult or complex. I liked that it got harder but thought it could have been pushed just a little more.

Overall, a very... unique game but still a good one.

I liked it.

I love the art style you went with.  It looks great and really fits the game. The music was a bit repetitive and while it fit the art style, I didn't really get any hellish vibes from it if that was the idea.

The platforming part was lovely. Controls were smooth and jumping around with some leaps of faith were a treat. The combat however I felt was a bit awkward and I found myself jumping over and avoiding enemies (which added to the platforming I guess) instead of fighting them.

Overall I liked it but just feel the combat and boss experience could do with a little bit of a rework.

Pretty fun game. While the loop of driving from a to b wasn't very interesting for me, driving very quickly was. Seeing how fast you could get zooming around town was pretty enjoyable. I think that if you added a timer or something that encouraged faster driving that would make the game much better.

Also, some kind of minimap would be awesome. I found myself a lot of the time crashing into buildings that you just can't see because of the camera angle. Adjusting the camera or adding a minimap so that you can see buildings coming ahead of you would enable much faster driving instead of cautiously edging forwards.

Overall though, I liked the map design and aesthetics but I think it just needs a few tweaks to really get it there.

Pretty nice short game. Loved the graphics and while a few more sound effects would be nice, I thought your voice fit the game quite well.  Outside of that, I think your game could have done with a little more polish. Little things like typos, having to switch from two hands on keyboard to hand on mouse and hand on keyboard, teleporting after interacting, etc.

Overall however, it was  a pretty good experience.
