pretty sure you can get peace with Revaire while still romancing Gisette. Unless you let your MC do whatever Gisette told her to because she's stupid in love ajfnvadvn

You might not have gotten his romance high enough. Have you seen all his date scenes up until that point? Make sure to spend time with him. And make sure you give good answers during those dates to get the romance boosts. I know you auto-fail if you aren't close enough to your love interest.

Weeks 4, 5, and 6

sooo I decided to do another run of my pirate MC, and I was gunning for a Zarad romance but I seem to find myself with the problem of not being persuasive enough to stay friends with Jarrod. So I thought, hey maybe I could do the Gisette/Jarrod romance for that good good manipulation boost for future playthroughs. But I thought I'd ask here first... does it end Badly if you are ethical/not manipulative enough to convince them both this will work? I just wanna make sure I'm not setting myself up for failure lol

actually disregard this, I'm gonna just restart with a different build so this time Kat can both be with Zarad and be a persuasive force unlike the Summit has seen since Katyia. I just had to sacrifice some cunning and beauty... (sadge)

Honestly I felt kinda vindicated seeing that Jarrod and Gisette were completely miserable. Clarmont and Mrs. White may have died, but at least those two are suffering like they deserve. My pirate may have ruined things for Revaire by virtue of being unpersuasive/manipulative, but at least she ruined things for EVERYONE, not just the rebels

For Zarad specifically (taken from the pirate pad)-

• "Well I disagree! Vehemently!" (First choice doesn't seem to matter here either!)

• "It wasn't your fault. Not what happened and not that you weren't able to stop it."

• "You aren't saying the great Zarad can't deal with the unexpected are you?"

• "I knew what I was getting into with you, Zarad. And I chose you anyway."

• "Whatever you have done, I know you well enough to know you were doing it for the right reasons."

• "Attempt to convince him that you aren't bothered by what he's done and are in fact happy to join him in the dark." (Immoral)

• "Attempt to convince him that whatever he has done, he isn't the terrible person he thinks he is, and together you will find a better way." (Ethical)

• Choices in order 324142 is the default, I think - worked with tomboy countess (low persuasion in comparison)

• if you have 450 > persuasion it helps too Isn't it 400 to pass without choosing all the best options? It is for Clarmont and Emmett.

HI ME AGAIN I'm here to weep at the bad end for Revaire with Clarmont fucking DYING... I mean of course the bad end would result in that, but the one ending slide where it's like "well you couldn't exactly keep being friends with Clarmont on account of him being dead. which you had a hand in. you weak un-manipulative LOSER" (not exactly those words of course but may as well be BECAUSE I DESERVE IT)

I'm assuming Gisette wanted Aldaric to marry a certain person/marry on her terms for politically motivated reasons, and Estelle wasn't a good match for that. And since he was already breaking a lot of the "rules" to keep in good graces with the current Revaire royals, well...

I found another bug! I don't get the +5 Grace bonus from Cordelia's friendship on NG+, only the +5 etiquette

yeah it's a really good thing this got backed up and I remembered to bookmark them lol, I would be at a total loss if I hadn't (no matter how many times I run through this game, I forget what exactly the best options are... too much to remember)

To be fair to my pirate's uh... "skills" in manipulation and general persuasiveness, it makes sense that Revaire fell and that would break the peace and the isle disappeared. I did however broker peace and prosperity in every other country so it was odd that it was considered a total fail of a summit. Sure it wasn't perfect and therefore the final summit, but everyone aside from Revaire did pretty good for themselves! I don't actually know if it has anything to do with the Ria Romance Fail, I'm pretty sure I did everything right in her romance so it's probably bugged.

Screaming crying throwing up I hope it's just a bug and I didn't mess something up my darling Ria is unhappyyyyy I was so enjoying her and my Hise MC Katrina's romance... I thought I did everything correctly too... sadge sadge sadge

I guess this is my punishment for not being very persuasive and refusing to give in to Gisette so Revaire got f*cked and the isle went poof... also wtf was up with that? I know theres hints to the isle having some weirdness to it but honestly this is some straight up magic lol

aaaaand I didn't get the romance bonus for Ria either once I started a new game

-AND also spoilers in case someone stumbles upon this by accident), it might help to mention, I got the best outcomes for every nation except Revaire so the Isle vanished, in case that has anything to do with the outcome

also to add, idk if this is just by default or if I missed a romance scene or what (though I had max romance) but it mentioned in the epilogue that their relationship was quite rocky and Ria struggled a lot and was often sad. Not sure what I did to wreck things or if Ria just had a lot of trouble adjusting to Hise or what but... T_T (but just in case that wasn't supposed to happen I'll mention it here)

found a bug! When my Hise MC's ending slides were talking about her marriage prospects it mentioned several times she never married, but then Ria's romance epilogue slides came and mentioned their wedding... not a major bug I suppose but something to look into!

Just started week 5 on my first run cuz I've been busy, and idk why but I decided to play a Hise MC and romancing Ria. And I gotta be honest when I saw that "don't worry sweetheart" option I swooned... I might be a little in love with my Hise MC lol. I'm glad I made this my first playthrough, it's fitting I start with wlw seeing as it's pride month hehe... maybe I'll romance Gisette next and then Ana. Ladies first!

Alsooo I have a question if anyone can answer- can I get the best ending with Ria's romance if I politically marry Zarad (p sure he's an option, I've never actually played through a political path in my demo files ahaha) or do I get to marry her if I stay single and then kidnap her and bring her back to Hise?

EDIT: I avoided setting up a marriage and I got the scene where Hise MC asks Ria to marry her!!! I'm so happy aaaaaa

OHHHH this is after the interview where you choose your romance partner right? Matchmaker won't let you choose Jarrod cuz he sucks lol, you have to reassure him after her speech that you choose him and he'll calm down. Unless it's a bug, because if you didn't choose a different romance partner then you should be able to tell him you chose him despite what the matchmaker said.

OOP... evil plans Foiled. Is this like, if you romance him as evil by default? I wouldn't think being evil would be a problem for Jarrod... perhaps you're too much of a girlboss for him to control? XD

Wait I have a quick question! Do we only get the manipulation bonus if we get a romance with Gisette and political marriage with Jarrod then? Do we also get the beauty bonus for Gisette in this path? Or am I misunderstanding something

idk if this counts as spoilers or not so I'm gonna ask here, but can anyone tell me the stat bonuses you get for the backgrounds and romances? I want to plan the Optimal Build for my self-insert sheltered princess play-through lol

Ah okie! As long as I'm not making Griffin hate me then that's good to note ksfvnsnv I didn't want to be making enemies by being my awkward self lol. And I think what threw me off was a certain option being locked behind valor points- the one where you ask if an employee was okay. I was like oh... does the valor correlate with your morality then? And I was thrown off a bit. It was more like I was confused as to why the more anxious options took hits to valor, alongside the cruel or mean ones. If that makes sense. Thank you so much for the response and the clarification btw! I hope I didn't come off as angry or something. Just thought I'd give my feedback n all that!

I LOVED the demo and had a blast playing and getting to know the characters! The art is really nice and I love how dynamic it is. Even the unfinished sketches and lineart are super awesome, excited to see it all finished and polished! I enjoyed the writing as well, it felt very engaging and kept me interested and curious to know more.

I'd like to also give my thoughts on an aspect I think could be changed, but I wanted to mention that I loved it before I gave some criticism lol. Just, something I'm kinda ehhh on is that it feels like you get punished for being shy or anxious. I get that they're not really heroic qualities, but you mainly get negative reactions from it, like hits to valor or Griffin's approval. And I think it's slightly unfair, as being shy isn't like... a bad thing to be. Or makes you a bad person. IDK, it'd just be nice to rp as someone who is more timid without getting on people's bad sides lol. As long as you're brave when it really counts, I think that would matter the most.

That's really about it. I'd just like it if there were more freedom to be someone shy (with room to grow into a more confident, brave person by the end Perhaps?) without it being a wholly negative thing. But of course, this is all just my opinions and take it with a grain of salt. Thanks for reading if you do anyways, can't wait to see the game develop overtime! <3
