"it's not a bug, it's a feature" xD

Yeah, for some reason in build the game crash after getting out of the setting menu, but not in Play mode in Unity lol. I did not know about it overlapping though. Thank you for the feedback, glad you enjoyed my entry :)

Good attempt for a first game. From what I can tell, you seems to know what you lack and where you need to improve from the other comments. I think you should focus on polishing what mechanics you want to focus on for future game first. Good luck on your game dev journey

Very fun and simple game. I don't quite understand what make the racoon trailing through the trash vs when it will just bonk onto the trash, I can only assume it is base on my speed but sometimes that doesn't seem to be the case. I am able to get a powerup then go back past the death ceiling and kinda just stay there though. Art style is very nice, though sometimes the powerup that make the player smaller also make it harder to see where I am at. Overall, very enjoyable :)

Loves the graphic and nice music. It is not very clear which layer I am on and I think that the camera going too fast when transitioning between each layer. The 2D perspective by default definitely make some of the levels confusing to solve. Great concept however :)

It visually appealing, but confusing. All keys look alike but they each goes to a specified door. I don't get the point of the bell and rope as I never seems to want to go back up as that is just the same as doing a death drop

Loves the art, game is very simple and fun. I wish there would have been an endless version.

Very simple concept, I like the submarine model but a little bit more atmosphere touches like some fishes or corals could helps with the game's feel. Also my submarine was destroyed while I still have health left so I think that wasn't suppose to happen. Good work :)

Yeah, the score multiplier is scale on how long the snake is + how deep it has gotten. It is definitely possible to just keep racking up points with a very short snake. I did wanted to add more obstacles but I ran out of time. I hope you enjoyed it though! :)

Thank you! I believe I made the score to go up in scale of how long the snake it + how long you have survive, so the longer the snake, the faster you get score. It purely to serves the purpose of the game having some tangible goal (high score). Also similarly, I also find having the challenge of keeping the snake size as long as possible fun when I was testing it. I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Thanks :)

Thanks! :) I wanted to have it so that it shows the buttons and the buttons would click micmicing your input but I couldn't get to that point on time.

I like the simple concept, and the art style is vibrant. For some reason, the score and depth text disappear when I fullscreen. It also booted me out of the game back to the menu randomly the first time I play. Various bugs, but they all seem already mentioned by other people. Very enjoyable game overall :)

(1 edit)

Yeah, I told myself to put in some text saying "Press any keys to start" after starting the game but I completely forgot as 5 minutes before submission time approached lol xD
As for the audio bug, I have no clue why it was doing that only in the build and not in editor Play mode

Thanks! :)

Thanks! I did try to work on it as much as possible after work hours but did not quite have that much time :)

Nice and cute short story, pong was just a little busted where I could move my board forward and the ball flew with Mach 5 speed. Other than than, love the simplicity.
