This game is super polished and fun for only 3 days, I enjoyed seeing small details that most jam games neglect like parallax backgrounds, hit stop when bouncing on enemies, the music not starting over when you die, and more things like jump particles etc.

very cool game and idea, I think that the hitboxes could be reworked a bit but other than that you did a great job on this!

Pretty cool game, I like the art

Very cool game! I enjoyed the style and i think you pulled it off quite well!

very cool i was able to win by CHEATING i'm a little mischievous yes

This project is cool, it doesn't have much fluff or trying to be more than what it needs to be, it was honestly a lot more fun than most of the big team "walking simulator" games with a ton of art and music poured into them. Good Job!

Very cool

Very cool game and much more than I was expecting from a 3d browser game. There are some very clever moments especially the last puzzle. Good Job!

Very cool! I enjoyed the time-switching mechanic. I feel like the main thing holding it back are the controls, but everything else from the background art to the music is very solid! I think this could definitely be expanded upon and worked on further!

This game doubled my political fantasies and gave it to the next person

Overall pretty cool gameplay, I feel like the main thing it could have used was some juice/feedback to really sell the action on screen to the player, otherwise nicely done!

Thank you for the feedback! This has been fixed!

Next Vampire Survivors

:)

I watched it and it looks like the weirdness going on it could have been that you used the wrong fullscreen maybe

haha yeah the nickname for the game during development was upwell. It used to be those controls but i wanted you to choose direction instead of just bouncing off walls, lots of improvement being developed rn and will be published after the jam is done

done. it will be added in the next release after the jam, along with a lot of other things like a shotgun mode and score multipliers.

thanks so much!

ah I see, I’ll give it another try with that in mind

Very good proof of concept. The movement felt fluid and smooth. Good Job! Can't wait for the full release!

Really creative concept, like superhot with planes! I would have put support for mouse buttons too, as I had to pull out a keyboard just to play the game.

Has a ton of potential, but could benefit from some background music and faster gameplay. Overall you did a really good job and this is a really creative idea!

This is a pretty fun game. I could see it being further developed with different enemy and tower types. Good Job!

Fun game! took a while to get a hang of the controls but really good after that. I'd appreciate if you would take the time to rate my game as well!

Great Job! The game felt very fluid and fun, even stressful at times. I'd appreciate if you would take the time to rate my game as well!

It's a really neat and polished small game. It feels complete and is fun to play! I would appreciate if you could rate my game as well.

I had fun with the grapple mechanic once I got used to it, but are there controls listed anywhere? i couldn't find any. I also ended up glitching out of bounds of inside the houses a lot with no way to reset other than alt f4.

I liked the game but sometimes the shield button felt very sluggish

Here's my game! https://itch.io/jam/solo-dev-game-jam-4/rate/2927514

Really fun little game to spend time on trying to get a new high score. Good Job!

The game is super well-polished and feels complete. I was also really impressed with how good the game feels to play!

Really great game, good job!

Thanks for your detailed reply! My biggest gripe with the game is also the bland-looking caves that look too similar from an outside perspective, I think it was me working with the map and really learning it inside and out over a few days that blinded me to how similar it all is. (oops)

The instant-end bug was a very simple issue, there is an integer to count how many crystals you have collected, this plays specific voice lines, and enables the end trigger. The problem came from me manually setting that integer to the max value for debugging the ending sequence in my haste to export the game... Which also disables most of the voice lines and plays the ending line at the start of the game along with enabling the ending trigger. The worst part for me is that is was a super easy fix once I discovered it, and I will update the submission to the fixed version after ratings close.

I am very happy to see your constructive feedback and I'll be sure to check out your game as well!

It was a very fun game! I was able to get to 70 progressions before I got bored with just these 2 guys that made a combo to attack infinitely, I enjoyed my time with it!

Cool idea, but the long time to get to top speed and the glitchy grappling hook were hard to mess with. Good job though I liked the environments the most!

Good job! Very fun and exciting.

I really enjoyed playing through this! the atmosphere is great and the gameplay of a city builder mixed with Tetris was very new.

Absolute BLAST to play, very creative gameplay that gets intense very quick. I'd love if you would mind rating my game as well.

Really enjoyed playing this game, the playing dead mechanic was fun and I liked the different characters!
