very cool and chill soundtrack

reminds me of next

not sure if it would make the game better or worse but adding an idle and do nothing option  by presing left and right ogether would be nice,as the game is very snowbally

Amazing job, one of my favourite entries so far! The concept was really clever and everything felt so polished - I particularly liked the art style as it reminded me of Advance Wars :)

My only comment is that I would like to see more levels, enemy types etc, but of course these are things that can be added to later.

Really fun and neat game! I loved it. The music and the art worked really well and you implemented them nicely! I like the simplicity of the game, definitely something I would play on my phone or switch. Please add more to this! There's so much you could do!

I'ts one of my favorite games in the game jam now

Wonderfull game. Polish is excellent. Music was fantastic, reminded me of old japanese arcade games for some reason. Gameplay feels smooth and polished. Well done!

Really enjoyed this one, and it was hard to get off good job.

The only problem I've found with this game is that it's so good it's addictive... great job, I can't stop playing

I've never seen bullets fire on a pre-determined time like that - the limitation of two buttons made for a really creative solution!!

Really creative concept, like superhot with planes! I would have put support for mouse buttons too, as I had to pull out a keyboard just to play the game.

HOW DID OPEN ITCH.IO. Also  I am flabbergasted on how you use a pc without a keyboard.

goddamn it you ahahhahaa I swear I’m gonna do it just for this

Very creative game, so good I could easily see it being expanded on further.

You are a very creative person havin come up with this, I would have loved to have a faster inputs tho, it felt a bit laggy when I wanted to click fast

Developer

Yup, you’re totally right! Input buffering was in the polish to do list, but didn’t make the cut cuz of time :p Thank you for playing

Nice game. The game loop is simple but fun to play and I really liked the turn based system. Nice graphics and concept overall.

love the grid, love the movement and theme interpretation

can be very brain breaking and it keeps making me wish this moved to the beat (which would make it even more brain breaking)

some things I could see as potential improvements:

  • the larger ship could have a larger hitbox
  • a bit more oompf when you destroy something (particles, screen shake, not really sure what is missing)

feels quirky enough that it could be a real game (with some more content like bullet patterns and enemy types)

This game is so good. I'd suggest changing ammo color for enemies, since it was difficult to distinguish it aside from vertical sprite flipping. Also, there was a time I was ridiculously op, but all of that disappeared in an instant x_x

Developer

Oh, very nice observation, I gotta agree with that, thank you for the tips! Hope you were able to enjoy the game regardless tho!
