Thanks for organizing the event! It prompted us to finally try Godot for the first time, and we plan to use it in the future as a result :) We had originally planned some power-ups and additional content to affect carrying capacity, turn speed, pickup radius, etc., but didn't want to overwork ourselves. Glad you liked it in its current state though!

Glad you enjoyed! We found the more comically large the pile, the funnier it was for us. And agreed, shorter would have probably been a touch better. Thanks for playing! :)

Glad you enjoyed! (Your submission was a total blast as well) Shorter would probably be better, just ended up being low on the priority list and the music happened to line up by accident, lmao. Thanks for playing though! :)

Thank you for the kind words, we're glad you enjoyed it! We definitely want to do some future projects with beavers now, they're just too cute.

Glad you enjoyed!

Thank you! Loved seeing all the different takes this jam :)

Thank you so much! I'm glad you think so. (Also I probably spent the most time playing your submission, you did awesome with it!)

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed :)

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed :)

Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for the feedback :)

Fair enough! He definitely turns a bit slow to keep it from being too easy. Can do some fun maneuvers with the 180 dip to make up for it though, hopefully!

Thanks!

Thank you so much! Tried to keep it simple but cohesive, so I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Awesome to hear you're having fun with it! We had a great time making and playtesting it.

I'm glad you enjoyed, and thanks for the kind words! (Also loved the style of your game, very nice work!)

The vibe of this game is on point, really well done. I wish I could just watch them run amok endlessly.

I was honestly glued to this game, it is so fun to mess around in. Very well done!

Very cool take on the theme, and great level design! I enjoyed the different ways you made use of the same mechanic with pressure plates and such. Very nice work!

Very cute game and great use of visuals. I was loving the water reflection, different seasons and layered background. Looked awesome! The sleeping until he dies is a tad difficult to figure out, and I didn't understand the connection to the branch, but besides that it has a lot of potential for a fun platformer adventure! Great work!

Loved the animations and 2D renders. A few more puzzles littered around and you have a solid game, great work!

Thank you! It was our first jam and we wanted to play into our strengths at the sacrifice of having any deep gameplay to it, so we're glad you enjoyed the parts we worked hard on! It was fun to make :)

Was a bit much to wrap my head around at first, but once I got the hang of it was a really good time! Adding a tutorial of sorts could be useful by having a couple key characters show up that you have to buy, and then gradually give the player more freedom to hire and fire who they choose as it goes on. Really great work though!

Very short and sweet, I loved it. Even though it didn't have the most intricate mechanics, nearly everything it did have was very well polished and executed extremely well. Really good work, this game hit the notes it was trying to perfectly!

Thanks! We would have loved to refine a few things and add more stuff but we were happy just to finish something functional in time :)

Thanks! We spent most of the time just trying to make it look nice so we're happy with how it turned out.

Love the randomization of attack types and level conditions. Really solid idea and inclusion of the theme. Nice work!

Simple but fun, very cool concept here. Nice work!

Crazy good concept, I could write whole paragraphs picking apart each thing that was down extraordinarily well but I see plenty of people already are. The original Snake has nothing on this though, incredible work!

Awesome game for such a simple concept, I love it. Looks clean, music slaps and the wall jumping really allows for various paths and more forgiving platforming. Great work!

Very cute game. I had fun floating around and also hitting mach 7 speeds. Great inclusion of the theme too, this was a fun game!

Nice work, it's a solid idea with a lot of potential! I don't know what I did to gain a crazy amount of levels and start one-shotting everything, but I had a great time doing it.

A pretty interesting puzzle game, very nice! I couldn't quite figure out how to solve them, but I still enjoyed running around trying to, lmao. Good work!

Nice work, honestly a very easy to grasp game with a fun challenge attached!

Thanks for the feedback, but I'd be a bit more considerate when commenting on everyone else's games though. "Overall not a good game" is pretty rude, especially for what is meant to be a light-hearted and positive event.

This is super well polished. Had me hooked within the first few minutes of playing. Very nice work!

Thank you for the kind words and support, we're glad someone is enjoying the game! We put a lot of time and hard work into making it in the time that we had.

Most of the original team has moved onto their own new and exciting ventures since working on this project so it is unlikely we'll come back to it for the foreseeable future. But maybe one day it will see a reimagining!

Visually this looks really clean. Love the mix of 2D Sprites with a 3D environment.
