Great game! I find it quite difficult, but really enjoyable.

Very nice game! Great artstyle and catchy music. Very original concept for "enemy".
Although I have to say it is difficult, like some other person suggested it should have difficulty modes/settings and the current version would be second hardest or potentially hardest. And also maybe make the controls for shooting more clear and give different key binds for dash and shoot when a person uses WSAD to move (please make jumping with W possible).
Good job! Keep up the good work!
Nice game with interesting mechanics and
Things to improve: It would be nice if the game was more generous with giving bullets (or there was some difficulty setting). There should be some indicator that E is the interaction button, because I had no idea. And please make the jump sound little quieter in comparison to background noises. And maybe make quick respawn, since at the beginning I died a lot and I had to go though the menu and skipping dialogue before getting back to gameplay. A
Overall, game well done!
Figuring out how to play is a challenge by itself (the game needs a tutorial, or at least an indication that u use "Q" to drop items). Once you get how to play, the gameplay is nice, graphics are great. The game is lacking some calm music and it would be nice if it had some goal and/or progression.
Overall - game well done!
Interesting puzzle game, with great hand-drawn-like graphics.
Only things I'd improve is the clarity of some puzzles and stuff since I got stuck. I have no idea how to change the number things with +/- buttons, maybe I missed something obvious. Also I had the same problem as other people with the music not looping.
Overall the game felt nice and the art is perfect. Well done!
Thank you for playing my game and giving feedback :)
I am happy that you got so far that the music started to get repetitive ;) I will try to prevent this repetition in my future games.
I also played your game, but only for a short time, since I am not a fan of dark, scary, horror-like games. This doesn't change the fact that it looks great, seems quite polished and feels as climatic as it should. Well done!
Interesting game
The upgrade system gives some depth. and the fight with the fish feels satisfying. For game jam time frame it's quite nice, but just a little more upgrades would make the game even more fun.
Also, please, make the fish follow you better when you are far from them (especially in the first wave) or just limit the player movement space, since at the beginning I lost the fish and got softlocked and if not for the comments about the game, I would've left it there unsatisfied.
Overall, the game felt really nice.
Very simple, more like a demo, but it has nice features like enemy fight, treasure room, items and exploration. The music is great. The graphics are not in my preference, but objectively are quite nice.
As of the things to improve and tips for future: make the treasure drop just once, give some feeling of movement (some simple animation or subtle change to scenery) and just add more stuff, but I understand that this had to be made in one week.
Well done!
Solid casual game with calming music and nice graphics.
With my comments I like to write about things to improve, but in this game there is nothing to improve, maybe just remove exit button from web build or make it less obvious, because I clicked it instead of clicking space to launch submarine and game froze. Other than that the game is perfect, nothing in need to polish.
Well done!
I played your game, it's very well made.
I'd be happy if you played and rated my game: https://caspernotghost.itch.io/submarine-treasure-tracker
This is a great, polished game, with appealing visuals and nice music.
Things that I would think about improving: The game doesn't communicate how deep you can go so you are diving and then randomly you die. It also doesn't show what you can pickup with net and what will kill you when you try to pick it up. Also the upgrade islands changing based on what you select in the map is an interesting but a little unintuitive mechanic. But all of these things can be learned by just playing and with trial and error, so it isn't really a problem, just me nitpicking a little.
Overall the game made a good impression on me, well done!
Quite a nice game, but it requires you to swim through (almost) nothingness to reach enemies and once I defeated then I don't know what to do because again I am in an empty void.
I like the artstyle and music effects. And I feel satisfied from using the weapon. The upgade system gives the game nice depth.
It's a good game, but improvements of impact with enemies and changing the place where their spawn would make it even better.
Very cool idea, although not fitting the theme perfectly. I like the simplicity of the controls (mobile devices version with some improvements and more levels would be nice)
It would be cool if you added a button which showed "the solution" for levels that less experienced people (like me) get stuck on (I think it's more "educational" than all level unlock). A great QoL feature would be an indicator of your last sling on which you would base your next attempt (like in some Angry Birds games)
The level maker is a big plus to increase play time. The game has a nice style and calming music.
Well done!
Quite a nice game,
About the things to improve: I would make at least a little more variable obstacles and make the white sticks visible from further (or maybe just change their colors or make them random, but maybe the small visibility is intentional). A nice QoL changes would be more transparent crosshair and the clear explanation of mid-air jump and some NPC or physical in-world button for shop. Also, please add some music.
I actually spent some time playing this game and having fun, good job.
I'd also be happy if you played and rated my game.
Short and sweet
The art-style is very original and has its beauty.
As of the things to improve: Add some sound effects or music to improve game's presentation. Add some indicators for where to go (especially the indicator that you have to go down in water, because not all people find it obvious). I would also be nice if you added some content depth, it doesn't have to be much, maybe some collectibles to reduce your final time or boost your speed. It would also be nice if you made the timer visible during gameplay (to make it more speedrunner friendly) and explained the game story (the fact you are diving to the center of the earth) in game.
The game itself is a creative, short experience, good for it's artstyle and going for the best time. While I wrote about many things that can be improved, remember that all of it is constructive criticism to make the game better.
I would also be happy if you played my game.
Interesting game.
If I'd change something I'd make player and sub hitboxes smaller and increase or even completely remove the time limit.
The two player mechanic seems quite original, but (at least with my keyboard) you can't control both submarine and player at the same time which makes things more difficult.
The music is a plus. I am not a fan of the art-style, but it's a plus that you drew it by yourself.
Good job!
Interesting game, definitely suited for more mature audience (personally I am a fan of more light-weight games and I am not a fan of those demonic elements and swear words at the beginning, but this is my personal preference). There isn't much to improve, the visuals and sounds in most cases work together well enough, giving us a solid presentation.
