How does your game fit the theme?
i made an underwater action game and i think it fits the theme,
because I have a diver.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote the code completely myself and painted everything myself.
Only the music is from the internet, the mention of the creator of the music is in the settings.

The idea is really original. I like it.

  • Taking it a bit further would be cool. Allowing both the diver and the submarine to move could make for some nice challenges.
  • The player hitbox is really big so navigating is quite problematic.
  • Also adding more lights could help guide the player where to go.
  • The art doesn't match pixel wise (player's pixels are larger than submarine's pixels). It's dark so it wasn't a noticable issue anyways.

That's a lot of criticism that I'm giving you, but I think that this game has some potential if you would like to explore it afterwards. Good job!

Nice idea for a game. Easy controls and funny music effects

Very interesting main mechanic.

Nice idea with the double control. Was controlling both objects simultaneously and optionn? The levels were quite challenging!

Developer

Thank you.

It is intentional that you can only control one thing (player and submarine not at the same time).

I like the game. It is enjoyable and fun, I think it is neccesary to fix the collision layers, the time and the camera movement. But I like the game, good job!

I liked the double control mechanic, it´s a great idea! The hitboxes are too big IMO and it´s hard to dodge some enemies, but other than that I really liked it!

Thank you.

I tried to make the game Hard i think it's a little to hard.

Hitboxes were too big compared to the sprites and it was a bit akward not being able to move both characters at the same time but other than that, I liked it :)

Developer

Thanks for the Feedback.
In the next jam I try to make my games better.

Very nice, the puzzle difficulty is at a good level, but maybe be a little more lenient on the timer at first. Other than that, well done!

Interesting game.

If I'd change something I'd make player and sub hitboxes smaller and increase or even completely remove the time limit.

The two player mechanic seems quite original, but (at least with my keyboard) you can't control both submarine and player at the same time which makes things more difficult.

The music is a plus. I am not a fan of the art-style, but it's a plus that you drew it by yourself.

Good job!

I'm always happy when people like my game.
I hope you don't notice that I actually speak German😅

Interesting mechanic, the whole using 2 different movement systems. Some wonkey hit collision, but other than that. I enjoyed my time!

Developer

Thank you.

I tried to make the collision better 1 hour before the end😅.

I like the mechanic for controlling two characters at once!
