So creative! Audio was outstanding excellent work!

Really good looking and sounding game excellent work on that front! The writing is super engaging, loved all the effort you all put into each character and story element. This could definitely be a publishable game with a little bit of polish!

Only thing that threw me off was how the text boxes for the ghost people functioned. If two ghosts stack on top of each other the game doesn't know which one to show making it hard to read. I also had trouble reading through all of the text when the ghost would move and the text box would go away. Maybe just change it to a click ghost to focus in on, ghost text box appears, click off box to close it or something like that rather than the hover.

Excellent work!

Love the graphics here,  animations and sprites are fantastic! The addition of getting to choose your player sprite was very cute (sunglasses zombie is the best of course). I will say the "HELP ME" SFX kinda got graining after awhile, maybe limit the use of that sound effect or find some variation for it! Overall well done!

Would love to but I am on Mac...

What a cool idea for a platformer! I love the central mechanic here. Excellent design on easing the player into all the different platforming elements you created, and the overall polish with animations was great to see as well! Great work!

Tis the struggles of a game jam no sweat!

We are working to fix those issues, but we're glad you found enjoyment in the game as it stands now!

Thank you for checking it out! Happy you liked the art style it was a bit of a labor but totally worth it! It was a bit of an experiment for something bigger to come... stay tuned!

Happy to hear you enjoyed the music I wrote! We are working to make this a little less difficult... But we're glad you see the potential as we do too! Thanks for playing!

Funny you should mention Overcooked... no further comment... Sorry for the debt, thank you for playing!

Had to make a 2.5D style game for the jam! Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for playing! We're hoping to release a fixed version after the jam so be sure to keep an eye out!

We will have a patch release after the jam so stay tuned for that! Thank you for playing!

Thank you for checking out the game! We have been working to fix the glaring bugs for a release after the jam! Glad you enjoyed the music I wrote! Unfortunately there was more sound made but I ran out of time for implementation, so keep an eye out for that after there jam as well!

Thank you for playing! Yeah we definitely shouldn't have the metal be a part of the score, but alas we weren't able to test as much as we may have wanted to. But I am glad you enjoyed the general aesthetics and game idea!

Thank you for playing! We are aware of the bugs, but unfortunately couldn't get everything worked out in time. That being said, I'm glad you see the potential ideas we had laid out. Maybe after the jam we'll iron out the bugs and get it up and running as intended. Glad you enjoyed!

Thank you for playing it! Sorry to hear it was a bit difficult we didn't have too much time to work on balance, but we are happy you enjoyed it!

Thank you bro!

Just submitted this for the Global Game Jam! Would love to hear what you think of it!

What better place to root for your favorite sports team than the local library!

Celebrate your favorite sports team by cheering them on while avoiding the gaze of the pesky librarians checking in on you. Keep your eyes peeled, those librarians are crafty. They seem to come from almost anywhere to catch you misusing the library equipment (computers are in demand I suppose). Don't let those cunning catalogers ruin your Sunday!

It's all too real isn't it... Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing!

I always try to get to an idea that isn't obvious at first so glad you liked the interpretation. Thanks for playing I appreciate it!

Typing games are tough, especially when you've got butterfingers like me... I appreciate you playing, glad you enjoyed it!

Hopefully this helps you practice! Thanks for playing!

Indeed FatCat, Indeed...

Thank you very much, I am glad you enjoyed the game!

I would of loved to get sound in too but alas... time constraints, but if I continue work on this that's the first thing on the docket for sure! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing!

There technically is a timer implemented, but it runs in there background to calculate the WPM. I could probably make it visible! Thanks for playing!

(1 edit)

The art in this game is awesome I wanted to explore the grounds even further. I wish there was more filler between the boss fights like some exploration or puzzles or something but Im sure that was due to the time constraint. Awesome work!

Love the audio here super atmospheric and the bottle sounds are really nice! The overall thematics of the game are great well done.

I had a bit of trouble realizing which ingredients the customer wanted since there were multiple colored words on screen through me off for the first bit of the play through.

Excellent variety here! Tbh I was going to give this a lower rating based on the first two levels being a bit easy but then baking came in the mix and I was sweating... Great job!

Simple game but I love the thematics of it with the clones spawning all over really cool idea!

I honestly didn't even think of adding instructions or a tutorial which is a bit of a bone head design move... But I am glad you enjoyed the experience as it became more clear on what to do. A couple other people share your feedback on the speed of subsequent messages so that may be something I should take look at. I appreciate the feedback, thanks for playing!

I am also a terrible typist which lead me to make this (play testing was very difficult as a result).

There's so much I wish I could have got to add but as all jams go, the main goal was to make a simple concept work. That being said (as a sound designer/composer) it broke my heart not to get to music and sound for this because I had so many ideas. Unfortunately my coding skills needed the most attention (as I am not good at that) and I wasn't proud enough of the audio work I rushed at the end to include it. It's important to know when to cut of course but I do wish I had more time for audio! Thanks for playing!

I will keep rocking thank you!

Hopefully this helps you get over those fears! Glad you enjoyed the mechanic, thanks for playing!

You can thank good ol generated sentences for that (with some slight tweaking here and there of course)! I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing!

Glad you enjoyed it thanks for playing!

First thing I wrote down was I did not want to do a horror game since I figured a ton of people would be taking that approach. When approaching jams I usually never go with my first inclination or idea since it's usually the last idea that is wild and out there! But all in all it's a jam so no shade to anyone who took that approach as long as you made something you're a winner! I'll be sure to check out your game, thanks for playing!

So glad you liked the writing! Most of the sentences were generated with some being handwritten by me, however I picked and choose from those generated list and then modified the sentences to make them fit better. This saved a ton on time and made some really funny lines, including but not exclusive to "I want to go to France". Your comment made me laugh, thanks for playing!
