How does your game fit the theme?
You'll find out when you play ;)

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
yes all the code, art and story was made by me. but most of the sound effects are taken from some free soundeffect library's. I did make and record some of them

So creative! Audio was outstanding excellent work!

I wasn't a fan of the credits mainly because it went from being a black background screen to a bright white screen. Other than that, it was really fun! I liked your take on the theme, it was an interesting game. I would like to see where else it would go.

This was so fun, such a good story line!! Great work

Good game.

Great job, nice take on the theme, and quite different from other Jam games.
Had a nice art theme to it.
Could totally see this being continued, with perhaps working out a way to change your narrative, but ending back in a different loop, and on etc.
But for a Jam game, this is perfect length and scope.

I gotta say, really clever interpretation of the theme!! How the story repeated itself blended in so well with the rest of it! The art is also amazing. It's consistent thoughout the entire game, and its really simple, yet affective too. Although, i found the text to be pretty hard to read because of the font and the background. But besides that, this game is amazing with its concept, story, and art. great job! :D

Nice game! Definitely unique and interesting. All this art made by you in a week is quite impressive.

Personally, I think the balance of text to exploration could be toned down a bit with less text and more time to explore, but for a jam this is very hard to get right, so it's a minor thing.

You would really like "the witness" episode from "Love, death & robots" if you haven't watched it already. ;)

Great job!

I have watched it already, I am a big fan of that show. I rewatched it today and the stories are quite similar. glad you enjoyed it

This is an amazing game omg. I'm not really a fan of spooky games, but this one hits different. The graphics and audio combined so well, and made the game feel super creepy and interesting, even though the plot was a bit predictable. What a submission to game jam!

I saw where this is going right away, I love stories like that! This was very well executed, the only issue was the font for me. Really great job!

I love the art style and atmosphere! The storywriting and narrative design of this game is absolute amazing! Especially your use for color to indicate the "state" of the player! Great Job, one of my favorites this jam! Though I do have one thing you could improve on: The text color is way too dark, it was sometimes really hard to read the text, but all in all, awesome game!

Man the artwork is just sick!

This definitely deserves to win something for art! Such a unique style and design, wow! So impressive, you are really talented. I also have the same name as the narrator so that made it extra immersive lol.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

The game actualy takes your name as the name for the main character. So everyone has the same name as the main character. And thank you for playing, realy glad you enjoyed it!

Oh damn that’s cool!

Great art and storytelling!  Reminds me of Airdorf's cutscenes from the Faith series.  I wish there was a bit more interactivity though (the key and lock mini game was satisfying).   Great work overall!

Incredible art and sound design! Definitely one of the best games I've played so far!

Great narrative game!  Really well done.  If I can make a suggestion, and it may be me being old, the font was a little hard on my old eyes lol.  Great job though!
