Was talking to a friend about your game and we got curious what assets you used? They were really well put together we were impressed they weren't custom (good job)

Wow, stunning work, the game was really lengthy and super enjoyable. Seeing someone else use alchemical symbols was cool! Did you make all those enemies and spells in a month? If so impressive work (still without it).
The comments about the lightning spell are true, I did enjoy the black hole a tone though.

Best of luck I hope you guys stick together.

That was so cute! The way you unlock mechanics felt a bit random at first but I got the hang of it. I had never played a game using those controls but it worked really well. With a bit more time this could be great you have a lot of potential!

Thanks for the tutorial I really needed it. You made a cool game, thanks to the music I was really into the action and kept going for quite a while.

My only criticisms/improvement suggestions are the following:

  • The game needs some sound effects, the visuals were really good but some actions like rolling and shooting didn't have the punch you'd expect from them.
  • The text area should be selected by default when accessing a computer, having to grab my mouse and aim for the textbox really took me out of the action.
  • Being able to move diagonally, especially since some enemies do it.
  • Making the detection area clearer, for example by adding an enemy with a torch representing the detection range even if he's only shown in the beginning, or a drawing somewhere (the same style you wrote instructions in).

Aside from those points this was a great experience, I really hope you continue making games!

Neat project, I really liked the paper assets and the 360 guard. The first room was well put together and really set the tone (although the camera kept getting stuck to the door), there's potential.
Perhaps consider adding some ambient sounds or some music it would really add to the experience.

While the idea didn't come from fullmetal, it was definitely mentioned a few times during development and some of us (including myself) took some inspirations from the show, I'm happy to know someone outside of the team made the connection. The mirrors took a bit of work, at some points they tanked the fps down to 1 because we had no clue what we were doing (we still don't know). Anyways, thank you for playing our game!

Neat idea, I usually hate horror games and damn you nailed the vibes, I was so scared the floorboard noises made me flinch multiple times. The graphics were stunning and the ambiance was great. A bit too silent at times maybe a music of sort might take the experience to the next level?

Anyways, good luck with the project I hope you keep working on it I'll check it back in a while.

This was an interesting concept. Thanks for the heads up about resolution. The game was actually hard which I didn't respect at first but I did get the hang of it. I really don' t know where you hid all those parts I barely managed to build a guy. Overall a great experience I' d love to see some more works from you guys!

A 2.5D game! Hadn' t played one since little big planet, I really liked the perspective changes. I see you put some good efforts in vfx, between the borders and particle systems, keep up with that it really makes the game stand out! The game did provide quite a challenge so even though it could've been short I played for a good while and didn't get bored (which I often do).

Good luck and hope to see some more work of yours!

Nice one! I hadn't seen a pygame game in years, thanks for the nostalgy! The game was hard I just couldn't get to the end of the labyrinth I hope I didn't miss too much :(

Best of luck!

The art is stunning, is pixel art your main thing? The game definitely lacks audio, be it music or sfx, the silent was way too eerie.
I see an inspiration from papers please, however I got softlocked and the guy keeps asking me to take another document no matter what I did. If you ever update the game (which I encourage you to do) feel free to let me know I'd love to give it a better shot!

Thanks for playing!
We made this game with friends in two-ish weeks it was our first time working together (the chaos was real) and your feedback is the first external one.
Yeah the game lacks a bit of guidance and some places didn't receive as much love as others, I get the pacing criticism we'll definitely have that in mind for further tweaks. Knowing you liked and it has room for improvement means a lot to us!

Cute platformer, at some point my jump didn't register and I fell forever

Good idea, the silence is kind of eery and sometimes I can stand on the same square as the bishop.

Quite early on I died even though there were no spikes

Wasn't able to go very far

Cute plaformer, got stuck in the chest room, couldn't go right, couldn't open chest and I kept dying when the light went out.

Thanks for letting me know, Unity said it would run there but I guess not, removed the tag for now!

I was so immersed, the art style works so well and even if it was short the dialogues were a great read!
I don't regret playing your game and good luck if you do continue it.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the kind words, do you recall around where or how you got stuck? I would like to investigate.
