Game description
A game about a cute black cat trying to find the F1 key into a weird laboratory.
The game is like a metroidvania but you can do everything from the start. However, you don't know any of the controls to do those things, so you have to find books in the world that contain instructions on how to use those abilities.
NOTE: The required button combo at the end no longer requires pressing the Windows key (despite saying so) so that the game is no longer completely unfinishable on Linux and Web.
Theme interpretation
Every single move/feature in the game can be used immediately from the start, but you have to discover the required inputs first in books scattered around the game world.
Wildcards used (optional)
Let players break the rules with things like infinite lives or invincibility

That was so cute! The way you unlock mechanics felt a bit random at first but I got the hang of it. I had never played a game using those controls but it worked really well. With a bit more time this could be great you have a lot of potential!

pretty fun although a way to change the keybinds would've been nice my hands feel so contorted hahaha
