that's good to know :3

yeah I think next time I'll give things to do during downtime aside from dodging the enemy

healing is in the upgrades but you gotta beat it first to get it _-_

I think of I were to remake this I'd probably make healing an ability that you can use at the start

yippee!

The easy moneymaking was an intentional thing, yeah. Since it's a game jame people probably wouldn't be playing each game too long so I bumped up the numbers. The money you loose from collateral damage is also intentionally low so that you wouldn't care that much about breaking them and that meant that you could go around killing people and throwing debris everywhere(theres a reason why highest collateral and people killed is in the highscores lol). I if i were to expand this to a larger game i'd probably add more reasons to not commit mass amounts of murder

thank you :D

according to other people, it's also too difficult for them, so i think i just gotta balance the enemy ai better next time

nah it seems like other people had issue too with the difficulty. gotta rememeber to turn it down next time

your compliments have been delivered to the chef (my friend who made the kaiju sprite)

thank u :D

Oh, that's a good point. I'll be sure to implement that the next time ill be making something like this

thank you!! i was considering making the speed lower to match what an actual kaiju would be like but higher speed just feels better to control

thank u :D

yippee!!

honestly, since this is my second time ever coding a game by myself, playable is the height of what i can go for lol

thanks for the review, though! the feedback's appreciated

didnt intend for the enemy to become a uberjump pad but now they are i guess lmao

thank u  :3

Your compliments have been sent to the chef (my art friend :3)

yeah,,, didn't balance things out correctly. was planning on spending a day on sorting balance but you know how game jams go X/

that is an issue. uh. not that I can do anything about it now _-_

misery

Glad to know I did my job well X)

:D

there's a glitch when you play in web and you arent fullscreen where the mouse would constantly be going down unless the cursor wasn't controlled by the game (and if its not controlled by the game then you cant turn all the way around) as well as some generally glitchiness and performance issues but other than that  I love it <3

In the future, we're probably going to keep the map very limited because exploration is one of the core parts of the story and oftentimes maps just lead you to stare at the map more than what's in the game

Originally, the idea was that each mech would have a separate inventory and have an irregular inventory shapes but it got cut because of difficulty implementing and time constraints. we've got more time, though, so that's going back in

also his name is CHECKER get it right smh my head /j

art feels really polished and cute! it's too easy to keep the ball within size by spamming shoot, but otherwise it's really nice to play.

:D

We are actually probably gonna continue working on this! So check us out in the future ig

needs some polish here and there like having a retry button and whatnot, but it was rather fun!

i feel the controls were rather wonky. my immediate instinct is that left click controls both selection and action, but they're on separate mouse buttons.

otherwise, love the style, and the music was fun too

10/10 across the board. my only complaint is that there's not enough levels

genuinely i think we just. forgot. about having wasd controls

houugh those fingers-- they don't have that many joints -_-

Nice game though

weed

seriously though, we had a big ass brainstorm session at the beginning of the jam and that was where a majority of the stuff came from. i wouldn't call this game crazy but i'm glad you like it!

The hitboxes and lack of ability to hit up/down makes it rather difficult in the beginning, but the game's fun enough and i like the style

Adore the concept, and figuring out how to do stuff was really fun!

made me laugh. fun game!

connecting things is rather intuitive, and also the volume control falls of exponentially rather than linearly, but otherwise, it was fun!

love the style! honestly, no complaints aside from small bits of polish needed.

turning was painfully slow, but otherwise it was fun.
