Sorry for the late reply, I am currently away.

The third player trick makes a lot of sense, I might have to try again now that I know that lol.

Thank you so much for the information on Godot. I might make the jump to learning it now.

Happy New Year, Circled!

I can confirm, it is very cozy.

I could almost feel the heat from the campfire when I put my hands up to it.

The snow particles were very nice.

Good submission!

Nice submission.

I would recommend putting the how to play sign beside the player as the first time I played, I was not paying attention as I loaded in and missed the explanation. I didn't realise you could walk around for a while to see the sign.

When I figured out how to play, it was quite fun. The mechanics felt really nice and polished. I thought you threw by releasing the trigger which worked for me despite not realising the actual reason so I didn't have a problem there.

My only complaint with the actual gameplay would be a lack of agency. On some turns, I felt I couldn't make much of an impact.

Overall, I really enjoyed the game and I liked the inclusion of the voice and the presents when you win.

Also, I noticed the game was made in Godot, would you recommend the engine for VR and also just in general?

Thanks, the last two levels are quite hectic. I now know that I would be a terrible Santa. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback. We were thinking of trying out picking up multiple things at once to add some more chaos but unfortunately the deadline got the better of us. Thanks for playing!

Yeah, we were running out of time so we never got to making a tutorial. Thanks for playing!

Yeah the door is locked for the later levels so you have to find another way in. Probably should have shown that better. Thanks for playing!

Nice work,

For some reason, the walking and turning was swapped for me (walking with right stick, turning with left stick). The movement seemed a little fast as I felt a bit motion-sick but maybe it was the issue with turning Industrial Punk pointed out.

I really liked the visual effects and atmosphere. Finding the presents was quite fun. The change to the dark environment was very cool.

Well done and happy Christmas :)

Thank you, I did notice the items flying past sometimes, definitely needs some adjustment. Merry Christmas!

I loved the graphics and the climbing mechanic was very unique. It was a bit annoying to climb up a bit just for the next section to be out of reach and the indicators for the pickaxes could've been displayed better as it was hard to tell how long you could hold on for. Overall, great game.

(1 edit)

Fun idea but the controls felt a bit awkward, especially with the ropes. Visuals were really nice tho :)

For some reason it never crossed our mind to aim like that but we should have added it in as an option. Thanks for playing :)

Thanks for playing, unfortunately we ran out of time before making a tutorial. Hope you enjoyed the game. :)
