That is a very complete game, great job

It has got great UI, versatile power-ups, enemy waves, and a boss. It is also forgiving enough, so I could actually beat the boss! Also you can scale the difficulty if you want a challenge

Boss mechanics is also very complete, I like that the player has to guess where the boss will become visible again to actually deal damage

Really good job

I already left a comment on the wrong page, but.. great pencil-drawn assets! loved the game

nice game! I love the pencil-drawn style, bullets and enemies are also great! good job, mate

Hey, good job! It's interesting that your speed obviously depends on where your gun is pointing. I also liked the variety of enemies and projectiles.

The game was a bit difficult for me to progress though

That's a really good game!

1. enemies only start shooting when you perform the very first shot, and the big guy spawns projectiles every time you shoot: nicely done for the consequences theme!!

2. the game has a clear goal (killing all the other bad (bad?) guys) and a manageable learning curve

3. are those really the bad guys? well you're the first one who started shooting

4. visuals, bullets and music - all high quality stuff, also nice that you can turn off the music at a later point if you got bored of the same tune

5. also impressive that you did music/visuals all by yourself, although you used AI assistance for some of the assets

Overall very good job!

thanks mate! Appreciate it

glad you liked it! Thanks for your feedback:)

Hey, thanks for the feedback - means a lot to me!

hey, thanks a lot! Yes, bullet physics was meant to be the diamond of the game, so I'm really glad you appreciated it!

Hey, thanks for the ellaborate review - that is much appreciated:)

yes, you're right, at the end it has come out more like bullet heaven, not bullet hell, and usually the pace is higher in bullet hell games as well.

the mechanic of shooting in the direction where you look is interesting.. would love to see more enemies, I also couldn't understand what the upgrades do

Hey, cool game! I like that you have a well-designed boss enemy with different attacks and phases - the beam of death was a bit too difficult for me though

I also liked the main character - somehow he reminded of the goth kids from south park :D

The music is really good, especially during the gameplay loop, and the story in the beginning also adds a lot to the game. Visuals are also great

I regret the game being a bit too short - would be nice to see more levels and story

nice color scheme and camera shake, like it a lot. I only managed till level 3 though .. :D

great job! the game has got good visuals, nice music and I also love the poor granpa character - I wish I could replay from current level though or have a couple more tries, since I failed several times on the third level

the game is also well in the spirit of the topic lol

Hey, thanks! that's valuable feedback. I feared that enemies would look too similar - I bet you didn't get that there are dwarves with shields that reflect bullets. Hell, but I didn't expect that the level itself would be not readable. I'll think what I can do about that

Regarding damage feedback - it's a must-have, will add it asap :)

Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback, valid points! I actually just didn't manage to add in time most of what you've mentioned. Regarding the reload system - yes, I rejected it because I wanted to allow the player to concentrate on shooting and ricochet and not look at those bullet count numbers. And yes, ricochet is a punishment but also a way to defeat enemies, I admit that visuals and gameplay don't make it clear enough though... got to work on that.
