Very interesting idea, I like the art too !!!!! I can see myself enjoying such a game quite a lot with a twin stick joypad !!!
Constructive criticism: The boss really needs a stun/damage animation, otherwise it is hard to read in the thick of the action.

Hey, cool game! I like that you have a well-designed boss enemy with different attacks and phases - the beam of death was a bit too difficult for me though
I also liked the main character - somehow he reminded of the goth kids from south park :D

I enjoyed playing this game, Loved the character and the golem, Only feedback is that I think more badass music would have suited the game, but it was great either way!
Thanks so much for your feedback, I really appreciate it. and regarding the music, in case you didn't check the options menu, I have actually added in the options menu a couple of Background music for the player to choose from.
The player's rolling animation is really visually pleasing. If I had any feedback it'd be to tweak the golem's laser attack; I found it too difficult to avoid as it seemed too fast and tracked the player with a very high accuracy.

The big laser did feel difficult/impossible to dodge. Maybe its a browser thing. Also, if you just stay just off screen from the golem, maybe have the corner of its foot showing, seemed like nothing but the laser will get you =P good job, keep it up!

Great game, on my opinion the stamina regen is a bit slow, so like 10% ish increse would be nice(or im just bad .-.)

Some constructive feedback ( I think it helps us become better developers)
- What's strange (I don't know if it was intentional, but I had a problem with it), in the downloaded version Golem sometimes fired repair bullets at me every 0.2 seconds, as if he had a mini gun, and I didn't see any chance to avoid it, and in the web version I didn't encounter any something like that. Maybe i am doing something wrong or just bug? (screen below)
-Also laser need a lot of practice to dodge correctly maybe it should be a little slower when changing sides of the chase? because he easily catches up with the character ( It's just my opinion honestly i thing it's good challenge!)

The mini gun attack you encountered, I originally added it to force the player to stay far from the golem with an attack that is short-ranged (all minigun bullets had a short life time, if it wasn't then this must be a bug 😅), which got me to notice some issues over the randomness and some other stuff so thanks alot for bringing this up.
And thanks for bringing up the point over the laser, I will try to work over the fairness of the game even more and resolve the speed issue.

Nice movement and bullet patterns.
I kept dying to the huge lazer. I guess your best bet to dodge it it to be close to the Golem, but so far I haven't had much luck :)
Could be nice to have some kind of indicator that you need to reload when you run out of bullets (a flashing "R"-button mid screen for example) since it took me a couple of tries to make it semi-automatic

Really liked the attack patterns and the way the golem telegraphs his laser attack. I also had trouble taking him out, but overall it was a solid submission for the jam. Keep up the good work!
