Hello! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Overall: โœจ Neat game. The wave system for your enemies worked well. Great job on the submission!

Fun: ๐ŸŽ‰ The gameplay was engaging, though some parts were a little slow. Loved seeing the numbers pop up for hitting enemies, my team did a similar thing.

Visual: ๐ŸŽจ Loved the animations and effects like blood. The visuals added to the overall experience.

Audio: ๐ŸŽถ The sound effects were well selected and implemented.

Theme: ๐Ÿ“š I believe you went for a theme of your own bullets hurting you, which is a great idea. However, I wasn't dodging a ton of projectiles, so I probably wouldn't consider this a bullet hell game.

Other feedback: Speeding up some parts of the game and increasing the projectile count could make it fit the bullet hell genre better.

Great job overall! ๐Ÿ‘

Hey, thanks for the ellaborate review - that is much appreciated:)

yes, you're right, at the end it has come out more like bullet heaven, not bullet hell, and usually the pace is higher in bullet hell games as well.

Very hard but I liked working with the physics of the rebounding bullets! The slow and considerate pace is refreshing ;)

Developer

hey, thanks a lot! Yes, bullet physics was meant to be the diamond of the game, so I'm really glad you appreciated it!

Cool gameplay. I love the idea of consequences when shooting a projectiles and they can be reflected into you. Visuals are fine, but its not readable. Everything looks similar, sprites blend together, in the game is too little contrast. I had problem with notifying that those gray squares are spikes and they can kill you. Another thing is that game don't give any feedback to the player when he gets damage. I would appreciate some visual and audio feedback to know when I got damage. Sometimes I was just thinking how the hell I have no health?

Developer

Hey, thanks! that's valuable feedback. I feared that enemies would look too similar - I bet you didn't get that there are dwarves with shields that reflect bullets. Hell, but I didn't expect that the level itself would be not readable. I'll think what I can do about that

Regarding damage feedback - it's a must-have, will add it asap :)

Very pleasing to play. The enemies were a little off but, good fun overall

interesting game, here is my feedback:
-Very decent art style and SFX, but I think the game lacks a bit music, but really god job on the SFX i really liked it.
-I have noticed a bug where if the player is really close to the wall, he call shoot through it.
-I would recommend adding a pause menu, as i attempted to pause the game with esc but it quit the game.
-I really liked the damage numbers dropping off.
-I also really like the metal wall reflecting the bullets, I see that it is acting as a punishment for the player to not arbitrarily shoot instead of adding a reload system.
Overall, this can really turn into a very interesting game ,probably making levels or waves can also add more to the game. looking forward for future updates

Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback, valid points! I actually just didn't manage to add in time most of what you've mentioned. Regarding the reload system - yes, I rejected it because I wanted to allow the player to concentrate on shooting and ricochet and not look at those bullet count numbers. And yes, ricochet is a punishment but also a way to defeat enemies, I admit that visuals and gameplay don't make it clear enough though... got to work on that.
