a nice base gameplay, reminds me of multiplayer flash games of old.
Would love to see this fleshed out more
Mom I think I'm ready to play Touhou now.
Anyways I do like the concepts presented here in this game, they're very clever spins on the genre although it does get a little bit more difficult towards the middle.
Controls are simple and react fine, no complaints about that.
Overall a solid game jam game with nice gimmicks to spice it up a bit
I like the concept and the 8-bit artsyle of the game.
The idea of a bunny digging to reach a goal is cute and endearing.
Mechanic-wise I find the controls simple and easy to follow while the surprise mechanic of can be fleshed out to perhaps a random chance event rather than just a character that suspends your movement for a few seconds.
The pixel art is nice, although the platforming is kind of clunky.
The player is not affected by the physics of the moving platforms, making is difficult to ride them as you have to move with the platform in order to prevent yourself from falling.
The surprise aspect is interesting with varied projectile strength but can be a bit unreliable for clearing out big mobs.
Lack of bgm or sound effects is also kind of disappointing but understandable
I like the theme of surprise incorporated for this game. Scaring people through the set pieces you place is a good mechanic that is straightforward and simple.
There was not much to do in the beginning but there is a progression when time passes.
I would have liked more set pieces to place but for this jam the foundation is solid and has potential to expanded on!
