Really liked the spider-man santa experience :) No seriously, you implemented so many mechanics without making them conflict with each other. Another thing I noticed and it's something positive so don't worry, is that you implemented so many sounds into the game! It was a nice, cozy platformer experience. Wish you and your entry all the best!
Really satisfying movement. Took me some time to realize that the slashes face the mouse. Overall though, I think this could reach top 3 in this category if you get more ratings. Almost every level has something new to offer, whether it is a plusign tumbleweed or a divide sign that spits minus signs.
I don't know why this game has no comments at all, it's one of the best games in the Novice section that are not Interactive Novelles or Platformers.
I could never imagine a way to implement a rhythm game with polarity but here we are. I really liked the transition from the controls to the main game (one of the best I have seen someone do in Godot).
I have never attempted to create a rhythm game but I believe it is very hard to sync the beat with the upcoming dots, you did a good work synchronising them. If I had to add something I would add some particles when the electrons align with the circle (or an animation where they attract to one of the poles of the magnet).
Overall, this is a solid entry. Didn't encounter any bugs and had a good time remembering the days when I still played OSU. Wish you all the best in the voting period my fellow Godot programmer (and maybe a strong opponent for the top 3).
Loved the choice of pallete and the art style of your game! Some polishing would be nice as the loading screen bugged sometimes and my character fell out of bounds of the map in the third level. Still, I loved the interesting Menu design and the distopian vibes the game gave me! Good luck on the voting period my friend!
A strong opponent appeared on the Novice category... Now seriously, I liked the neat art style and the sounds that were implemented where possible. I haven't seen many games made with Ren'Ry, but your game made it look less like a Visual Novele and more like and adventure type game! A promising submission. Good luck in the voting period!
HOLY COW. Now I can proudly state that I know my molecules! Now seriously. This is impressive, a cool innovative idea and a whole bunch of levels. The gameplay wasn't the main focus of the game but the thing that attracted my focus is the fact that you have to think what ions you want to push away in order to reach the one you need. Some people don't create many levels because they think that the player will see the first one, play with the functions and leave to make a rating (I passed every single one of them). This one might be one of my few favorites in this category so far. Good luck on the voting period!
It says there are > 250 ratings, but where are they? Your game could do some improvement on the graphic side of things. Nevertheless I like the "Fire boy and Water girl" vibes this game gives me. Consider tweaking the resolution a bit because the game doesn't stretch on the entire screen. Good luck on the rating period my friend!
Cool game. Though the floor was too slippery to balance on the one block beams and the screen was too small to navigate more accurately. Nevertheless that was a good attempt! Still, sad about the white's only ability - crouching. Show my boy White some respect! Good luck on the voting period my fellow Godot Developer!
Ah! A fellow Godot User! Overall I liked the implementation of the switch between polarities and the satisfying forklift driving experience, though some polishing is still needed as the forklift sometimes collided with the air. Oh and also! It took me some time to realize that the blue polarity attracted blue boxes instead of the red one's, a little bit unrealistic but hey, it's a game. Good luck on the voting period!
Honestly, for the first time this is incredible! I wish I had my sister draw sprites for my game. Sometimes when you play games with free assets the developer doesn't take into account that the artstyles might not match but you did a great job and found the best possible mix. I am posting a game for a gamejam for the first time too and your submission gave me motivation to make a better game next time! Good luck man!
Pretty cool concept of unlocking colors throughout the game to see how the things really are. Reminds me of the game where the graphics upgrade the further you go into the game, but the implementation of the idea could be more on the theme. Yep you play as a ghost, but if there was a bit more explanation like a note on a table or a photo of the family... Ideas for the future thought, the game itself was very cool. Keep making good games!
