Thanks for the feedback! The window issue is fixed, and we will put in a timer for the dialogue to sit there after it finishes typing the lines after the feedback period. We can rework the hint mechanics a little after the feedback period as well!

yeah in my haste to submit I kind of forgot how to uh, resize the window and make the game fit the window instead of having a huge screen with a small game window 4 times smaller than the screen itself.

I'll have a look at it

thanks for the feedback! Yeah many say it's challenging. Perhaps I should tune it a bit.

Thanks! First time joining a jam for my partner and first time doing a top down for me, so many things were limited. Hopefully we could churn out better things in the future under such constraints.

Thanks on the feedback! We'll work on those shortcomings!

Wow 120. I have to admit I actually didn't have time to build a flexible code to increase difficulty so I had to use hard numbers so at a certain point the difficulty stops increasing. I originally had a grenade ready, which I wanted to make a dropped item to use, but as time passed I decided to make it a cooldown instead, which in the end I also didn't have time for. The idea of grenade pick up and tossing would allow me to try my hand at making such mechanics.

Quite similar to mine, but I think yours is much more polished in comparison. Mainly because you have powerup. I tried to do the same but I didn't have the time. Didn't have much time to read the power ups though sadly. Too much going on. Maybe a UI explaining them properly as an additional scene?

I'm loving this. Despite of lack of interaction with the room, the storytelling is amazing for such a short amount of time. Not to mention the feature of Breakout! I have my money on this game.

I love how you managed to keep sending us into the same room like trapped in an infinite portal. I like it. Fits the theme very well too. On the other hand, while I don't mind the lack of audio, the black and white isn't very appealing in some cases as your statues are dark colored to start with so I couldn't spot the lion at first. Plus it makes it hard to reorientate oneself if I were to accidentally swing my mouse around. If you can add a bit more shading to define the walls and floor, it'll be much better!

I like the music in general, but with the incorrect screen size it's a bit hard to read the instructions so I found myself lost in what to do. To be very honest the poor text graphics kind of robbed the good ratings on many things or simply unsure how to rate others, including the immersion and aesthetic flair. Also, it would be nice to reduce the white noise that is supposed to express horror as, personally, it turned out to be a bit irritating. I'll be happy to try this again if I can read a bit better on what I'm supposed to do, for an infinite room going endlessly while you try to find your way out like the movie Cube(or I believe is called Cube) is potential for uncanny horror, which in my personal opinion is the best horror.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll pay attention to the resolution and screen size more next time. Well, just barely made it. A rush that I would prefer to avoid next time.

Thanks a lot! I forgot to reset the actual size to be bigger while retaining the small resolution in my haste. Sorry about that.

Well, in terms of fitting it I was hoping that the extreme speed and "extreme" size would make up for it. As for audio, yes. I have trouble making and submitting audio due to some computer issues. And I'll try to tweak with lives next time. I tried before but it never succeeded, so I wasn't confident enough to put it up. and the art isn't mine. The artist is in the end scene. Thanks for the feedback!

Can you elaborate on brutal? I am aware that my level design is one of my weakness, design wise.

Responded. Sorry it took me a while

Hello I'm a new Godot programmer (about a month) going for my second jam. Hoping to find an artist/animator with some audio skillsets that can form a more permanent relationship with. Any skill level is good. Ethan Skyholder#8492 is the Discord name. UTC + 8 timezone so it may take me a while to respond.

Yes I noticed that the further levels aren't loading and I've been asking around for tech help on how to fix this. I'll reduce the randomized control variables so it's not so hard to guess and navigate.
