Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate the detailed analysis, I was really happy with how the percussion turned out! And your comment about sounding like it came from a professional composer really means a lot. I really need that confidence booster sometimes, so I really appreciate it haha. Thanks so much for listening!

Haha yeah, I was worried that I might've been leaning into too many clichés with the instrumentation, but I guess they're also clichés because they work so well! I'm glad to hear that the instrumentation  hit the mark for you, thanks for listening!

Thank you so much for the feedback! I appreciate the acknowledgement of the silence and echoes throughout the piece, I always find that silence can lend itself really well to making a piece sound more primordial and organic. So thanks for noticing that! I love me some Donkey Kong Country music, so that comparison means a lot! Thanks for listening!

This is one of my absolute favorites! I love how you transition from your main theme to that little aside at :25 by removing the percussion entirely and letting the xylophone take over completely. I also really appreciate that you add that higher pitched counter melody/harmony in the xylophone when you restate your main theme at :35 to add a new element to that section, instead of just repeating the first section again with no new material. Those types of little details are what keep a looping video game track sounding fresh after listening to it repeat over and over again.

There's a real clarity to your arrangement and overall mix that feels very professionally done. The orchestration is nice and sparse, and the music feels like it has room to breathe and isn't too cluttered. Also, that pan flute sound is great! What plugin did you use for that?

Overall, I absolutely love this piece. Excellent work!

Really cool track! I love your use of the steam and bubble popping sounds as part of the rhythm section, it's such a simple but effective tool to really put the listener into the 'hot spring' headspace. Your main melody is very strong, although I feel that  you could've been used a bit more variation in the melodic rhythm and shape as the melody did feel a bit repetitive for me after a while. I really loved your instrumentation choices across the board, especially the sound you used for those chime-y chords. Great job with this piece, I really dig it!

I love the playful vibes of this one! Really fun and bouncy track, which is a surprising departure from the slower tranquil vibe that many others went with for the Hot Spring theme. I love the counterpoint between the violin and piano early on in the track, as well as the flute and piano just after that. The steel drums were an excellent choice to bring a more lively and aquatic feeling to the piece, and a really interesting juxtaposition with the rest of the more traditional orchestral instruments! Really enjoyed listening to this one, great job!

Thank you! Yeah, I was really pleased with how the percussion turned out in this one haha. Thanks so much for listening!

Thanks so much! I'm really glad that you liked it. Yeah, I agree about the percussion at the beginning being a bit too long. I wanted to extend the piece a little bit and give it some room to build before the fuller orchestration comes in at around the 20 second mark, but in hindsight I probably should've added a few extra elements to that percussion intro to make it feel less repetitive haha. Thanks for listening, and I appreciate the feedback!

I love the mood of this one! It paints a vivid picture in my mind of a dusty town filled with a bunch of grizzled dinosaurs who are the last of their kind. I can imagine a triceratops with a wicked scar and eye patch living in this particular town haha.

I really love the interplay between the bass and melodic parts. That call and response sort of feel really gives the track that right balance between melancholy and triumphant that you were going for. I also love your use of that squeaky lower frequency noise that lands on the downbeats throughout the piece, it has a 'dinosaur stomping around' sort of effect that feels really cool. Great work!

I love the droning feel of this one! Those looping arpeggios give the piece such a floaty and hypnotic feel. It really evokes this feeling of laying down in a nice warm bath, closing your eyes, and just letting your troubles wash away haha. The pads that play over the arpeggios bring a bit of intrigue to the piece for me. The dissonance and unpredictability makes the piece just a little bit unsettling, which I really dig. I do wish that there was a small melody played over the rest of the piece, but I'm always a sucker for a strong theme so I'm biased haha. This is a really great mood-setting piece though, awesome work!

This is an excellent set of tracks! I love the ideas you had regarding the way this dinosaur town would develop from day to night, and it absolutely can be heard through the music you wrote. I think the  overall mood of the Twilight track makes it my favorite of the three, but I want acknowledge that accelerando in the Daylight track. That tempo change was so unexpected but was such a cool surprise, I loved that little touch! I love that jazzy feel in the Moonlight track with the use of sax, horns, and upright bass. It really gives the music this sense of roaming a now bustling moonlit city now that the dinosaurs have all come back to life.  All three tracks perfectly encapsulate the vibes you were trying to go for, and I'm super impressed by the level of polish with only a few days to get it all done. Great work!

Love this one! So funky, I could listen to that bass groove all day! What plug-in did you use for the bass? I really like that tight e-piano melody that comes in at about :43 into the piece. I overall love the laid back feel of this track, and that underlying quirky vibe really puts me in that headspace of strolling through a strange town inhabited only by dinosaurs. Great job on this!

Fun game! I got a good chuckle out of the tutorial dialogue haha. I appreciate having the option of switching between moving slowly and very fast, it added a nice bit of variation and strategy. Fun stuff!

Fun interpretation of the theme! I love the juggling mechanic, it's a cool, unique premise that added a nice level of challenge and depth. Good stuff!

Real fun gameplay! I love the visual style, and the news broadcast framing is a nice touch! That final section of the level is brutal haha. Cool game, I would love to see this expanded!

Platforming and Tetris, what a combo! Real fun idea, and neat interpretation of the theme. My only gripe is that there were a couple of moments when a new block was coming down and I felt that I was out of options of spots that I could jump to in order to survive. But the game looks and plays great and I had a ton of fun playing it! Good job!
