I focused on making some water/steam/bubbling sound effects and used them as the bass and rhythm elements. I even learned the word sozu, which are those bamboo water features I associate with hot springs, which you can occasionally hear clacking in the back ground of this track

The use of water and water adjacent sounds is great, definitely getting hot springs/onsen vibes for sure. That bellow like ebb of steam coming in and out is especially a really interesting addition.

Really cool track! I love your use of the steam and bubble popping sounds as part of the rhythm section, it's such a simple but effective tool to really put the listener into the 'hot spring' headspace. Your main melody is very strong, although I feel that  you could've been used a bit more variation in the melodic rhythm and shape as the melody did feel a bit repetitive for me after a while. I really loved your instrumentation choices across the board, especially the sound you used for those chime-y chords. Great job with this piece, I really dig it!

Really interesting entry! Sounded great instantly from hearing the low bass. I love the sound of steam, water, bamboo, bubbles and everything. It is hard to make such samples nice to listen to, but you nailed it. It is a soft song with nice chord progressions and melody too. It sounds almost Japanese to me. The ending is a bit weird though, with the sound cut-off - if the sound wasn't cut-off, the end would likely be better to me.

Overall, very nice song! :D

Thank you! the ending was a mistake which i didnt catch before I uploaded embarrassingly. accidentally set the echo to 100% wet so it missed the 1st beat and was way to much echo. Was just supposed to be the sozu gently clacking 1 more time but with a slightly longer fade out

The sound effects set such a relaxing mood and make me want to be listening to this in a hot spring. Thanks for teaching us about sozu! I didn’t know those had a name and now I’m glad I know. I think the bubbling sounds are balanced really well and I wonder if the steam sounds could sound more realistic with a little reverb added and pushed more into the background. The instruments themselves feel very smooth and comfortable which adds to the relaxing nature of the piece. Overall well done and thank you for sharing!

It is very calming and relaxing, I like the sound of steam bursting to the surface. Very cool.

Very peaceful and gentle, with a touch of melancholy. I like the addition of the bubbles and steam jets, which add a little rhythmic and organic touch.

Sometimes the steam noise is a little loud in the mix.

But otherwise it's very pleasant to listen to and fits the theme.

I loved this track! Especially with the sound effects that you mentioned. I could definitely see this being in an RPG. It is pretty groovy.
