Laid-back funk on the back of a dino is what it sounds like. Also, it has a heavy kick to mimic dino footsteps but that would be implemented when walking in game.

Lovely theme you got going on! From the first time hearing it, I was in love. It is low and beat-centered, perfect for a dino town. Though I would advice to not keep the same bass theme for the entire 2:31 duration, as even the addition of a melody (from 0:43 on) and softening the theme (from 1:25 on) cannot prevent a great same theme from feeling stale. If there was an additional section in the middle with a different theme, the whole song would have benefitted from it. But overall, the theme sounds great and fits perfectly, so well done :D
Oh, and what is that flute at 0:11 for xD. Not my favorite addition to the song, but funny nonetheless.
I actually had 2 versions of the bassline, so I guess it worked in hiding the noisier version when the attention is meant to go elsewhere. I ended up picking up another project so while I know a middle section would have helped, I didn’t feel like it at the time.
The whistle at :11 is just because I thought it was hilarious.
Love this one! So funky, I could listen to that bass groove all day! What plug-in did you use for the bass? I really like that tight e-piano melody that comes in at about :43 into the piece. I overall love the laid back feel of this track, and that underlying quirky vibe really puts me in that headspace of strolling through a strange town inhabited only by dinosaurs. Great job on this!

It's neat that we all seemed to pick up on the idea of bass instruments being dinosaur-ish. This sounds to me like some sort of future urban dinosaur city where they all wear sunglasses and smoke cigarettes.
I really like the laid back groove and I agree with you that the heavy bass and kick allow me to imagine a stomping dinosaur really well! I really like the change in percussion and the melody that emerges in the piano about halfway through. I find that repetition is a helpful tool, and having different parts separating the repeated section makes the return to the part that’s familiar so much sweeter. I wonder if a B section in between the change up in the main part would allow for even more satisfaction from the listener when you get to the melody part. Overall great work and thank you for sharing!
Bro, the music is so good, so feeling and groovy, and cool, but I can't imagine a dinosaur or riding a dinosaur, the song is like a sunset cool moment in california with a futuristic raper with a skateboard or something like that... however the music is so groovy bro, congratulations =)
It really gives “The squad is the town” vibes, which is fitting for the name of the song. Really liked it.
