Addictive and well polished little game. I went back to play it several times
Thanks, glad you like it!
cool music! also like the paralax effect a lot :)
thanks!
Real fun gameplay! I love the visual style, and the news broadcast framing is a nice touch! That final section of the level is brutal haha. Cool game, I would love to see this expanded!
Thanks a lot!
I love the gameplay, the amazing artstyle, even the little news tutorial at the bottom. Really impressive game!
Thanks a lot!
Amazing gameplay, really addictive and nice audio design.
Thanks a lot!
5 stars in all categories. The gameplay is amazing, and the graphics are the best that I've seen in any JAM.
No suggestions, everything is perfect.
Keep working on more games, you have the power of the game development!
Wow thanks a lot, I'm really happy to hear that and its thanks to people like that I'll continue create games. :)
Really great game here, definitely the cleanest implementation of the one button climbing game. Great aesthetics, great sound effects and music.
My only gripes are the hitboxes are a little bit unforgiving and the post processing is a little bit much, made it hard to read some of the text.
I love the ticker at the bottom giving hints in a universe appropriate way, funny and informative without taking you out of the game.
Thanks a lot for this very nice feedback!
Awesome game! You make the best of a simple mechanic. Challenging and fun. The music and the sounds are good. But maybe you could make it even better by combining them with the gameplay, like in a rhythm/musical game, something like that.
Go Godot!
Thanks for the feedback, and yep that's definitely a good idea. :)
Loved this game. 5/5 on everything!
Wow thanks, I really appreciate it!
really good. deserves more rating.
Thanls a lot. :)
Amazing, amazing job. Love the graphics, the style, the Godot engine, and the music. Wonderful
Thanks for your nice feedback!
Amazing style! Fun gameplay as well. GJ :)
Thanks a lot!
Really cool game, unfortunately I'm really bad in playing it. Finished the first run with zero points...
Thanks for your feedback! Yep that's actually bad, I should have rewarded the player for getting to end, well done btw!
One of my favourite games from the jam so far. Beautiful aesthetics, good music, juicy gameplay. Maybe my only complaint would be the combo reset system. I think that a simple health system, or a limited maximum combo multiplier would benefit this game more, as I found myself resetting everytime I hit something before the very end, because I knew I wouldn't have a chance anymore for a highscore. But that's just personal preference I guess. Good job!
Thanks a lot! Yep this system was intented for more casual player that won't necessary play the highscore . Very nice feedback thanks!
One of the best games i played of this gamejam !
Congrats
Very happy to hear that, thanks!
Great game, well done. Loved the theme, the music, of course the crt filter together with the retro graphics. So good having the news ticker as your UI!
Mechanics were pretty perfect for me. Satisfying and fun.
I see you've done a couple of cool experimental cyber punk games and it's awesome so keep running with the theme :)
Thanks a lot for this very nice feedback!
Really nice !
Thanks!
WOW. Godot is not my favorite engine to use, but if you guys are able to make a game like this in 3 days using it, then that has to be a selling point!
I love everything about this: the simplistic yet addictively fun gameplay, the vaporware aesthetic, the 80's arcade music/SFX, the clever take on climbing with the free running. I can tell this was made by a pro, just by how high-functioning it is in such a short period of time.
I like that you added tips in the news ticker at the bottom, but it's pretty tiny and hard to read. I also experienced a bad bug in the WebGL build, where I let myself fall for a couple seconds and then proceeded to run up the building without hitting obstacles or collecting points. That sucked, because I got to 11000+ with about half the building left to scale... Would've been a personal high score, for sure.
Oh well, I'll have a lot of fun trying to beat it again playing this awesome game 😁
Thank you for this very nice feedback!
