mfw the game hands me the L piece :)

if you play it right you can kite the spaceships into the asteroids for a free kill

very relaxing aesthetic very cool

A very interesting concept! It was fun to figure out what sort of strategies work / don't work here, for example never leaving the fruit in a dead end, and it was satisfying to finally get the right blocks in. My suggestion would be however to have a longer delay, or some user input before starting the level, as right now it just kinda starts and doesn't give me much time to think ahead. Other than that great game :)

A nice survival game! It was fast paced and stayed interesting because of how the ground kept changing. The aesthetics and little details in how the platform disappeared were also very nice to see! My only problem was that for me, the game locked my mouse position and wouldn't let me aim my mouse around, making things a bit more tricky. However aside from that good job! :)

A nice little game! I liked (and also immediately forgot haha) the resistances mechanic. However with the long cooldowns and some of the weapons being a bit tricky to hit, it took me ages to make it past the first wave

A neato platformer, certainly made me have to adapt on the fly to whatever jump is right now. I seemed to teleport every once in a while which kinda weirded me though, and it wasn't quite clear what my goal was?

Quite an enjoyable game! Became quite fun on the levels with fewer potential inputs to have to plan ahead what inputs would go where, and then getting my fingers to actually go press those buttons :P My only gripes is that I found sometimes switching controls to be a bit finicky, often I'd accidentally click the wrong button input cause the circles aren't too large. Other than that looked good sounded good and played good. Well done :)

Very lovely game! Became a fun challenge to needing to plan ahead my presses in order that I used each ability when I wanted to, and some of the puzzles were quite satisfying to complete :) My only gripe is I noticed some of the later levels seemed to be copies of previous ones with extra enemies, which still had roughly the same solution, but other than that a nice game to complete all the way :D

Quite an interesting concept! I'm no great shake a bullet hell sorta games so found it quite challenging very quickly haha. I almost felt like the walls however should be a little more potent, cause right now with all the other tanks and shots about it ain't really matter that the walls fire back. Other than that good presentation and a fun little game :)

Fair point, we could definitely add something like that after the jam. Thanks for the feedback :)

Quite a fun little experience! I kept playing till I got to the final board. I especially liked all the little gimmicks on each screen, so it became exciting to see what would be new on the next screen! However I think there is a bit too little control, as the balls move so fast I can't react to them, meaning the best strategy is to just spam both buttons. Did make things exciting to watch, but a bit dull to play. Also I did feel some of the backgrounds were a bit too vivid, and became a bit distracting. Other than that a nice lil game :)

Thanks for the feedback! The music was originally gonna play during the levels too, but had an issue where it would restart on each death, and we didn't have the time to fix it. There was also a boop sound effect upon a shot hitting a wall but it got to be a bit annoying with too many shots

An interesting concept, though I found it a bit too difficult to control, as it seemed like as soon as I'd get to the view point to have a look, it would already be too late. Perhaps if there was a way to see at least the close asteroids without needing the view point, to make those emergency reactions quicker? Otherwise great job :)

Ah apologies for that, perhaps there could be a system where you could calibrate the machine for what you want a . and - to be. The inputting felt natural to me, but I suppose that's not universal. Thanks for giving CQD a go! :)

Here's a game called CQD, a Morse code based puzzle game where you must enter the code quickly, to help rescue a vessel!

Give it a go at: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/462246

An interesting take, took me a few deaths to get things figured out :P Good job on the entry

An interesting idea but we just didn't have time :P Thank you for playing CQD

At the main menu, if you short tap you'll enter easy mode, if you long tap you enter hard mode. Thanks for the feedback :)

Fun game, though it'd difficult to gauge jumps a lot of the time since I'm never quite sure how far the ball will jump, maybe an indicator would help. Good entry :)

Interesting game, some of the text appeared off screen so I couldn't read it, however I figured things out in the end :)

Good to hear! :) I'll take a look at your game

Perhaps take a look at our game, CQD. We wanted to make a game based on the original one button machine (a morse transmitter), and so this is what we came up with

https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/46224

This is CQD trying to highlight letters in 'Hello':

Tried to highlight 'E'

Tried to highlight 'L'

Tried to highlight the other 'L'

I was close to losing it...

Ah, I figured it out, the box on the top left was rather transparent so I didn't see it. Very interesting puzzle game!

Thank you for the feedback! :)

Interesting thought with the difficulty.. perhaps I could add a few more sentences

Very cool idea, and intuitive to control. My one suggestion would be since its very easy to lose the player, would it be possible to display where on the axis they reside? Otherwise good job :)

A really unique mechanic for a game, flipping between colours. Sometimes it did get a bit overwhelming (spikes from where now?) but perhaps I'm not practiced enough. Great game :)

Thank you for enjoying our game! Props to https://itch.io/profile/senor-saas for the  art :) I'll take a look at yours

Very interesting game, though a bit too slow to move about (some of the commands could've benefited from being a bit shorter), and I got stuck since I tried inputting commands while the command list was up, it was accepted but nothing happened. Otherwise good game :)

Perhaps, I certainly learn how to sign 'Hello' during the testing phase ;)

To use a Verb to describe CQD, signal. :)

https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/462246

Very nice game :)

If you'd like a fun time practicing your morse code to save a ship, try CQD :)

https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/462246

Also, if anybody would like to practice their Morse, take a look at CQD :)
