Thanks for giving it a go.
Glad you liked it. :D

It needs a proper tutorial.
Ran out of time :P

The stairs scene nearly scared my pants off.

Bit short, but the atmosphere was nailed!

Really awesome idea!
Would love to see how it progresses, if you're planning on further developing it.

Will message you over on Discord :D

Large textures will most likely be the case.
I wouldn't go over 1020x1020 textures unless it's something that really needs detail.

Also make sure that objects that don't move are set to static and that materials that are used a lot are gpu instanced.
I'm speaking out of a Unity perspective here, not sure about UE.

The tension was there, but needed at least once jump scare... unless I missed it.

Was really afraid that thing in the basement was going to move, so I kept going back to make sure it was still there.

Very well done.

My FPS was ok, but then again, I'm running a rather monster of a machine.

Are you using LODs in your game?
They are a bit of effort to get in place, but speeds a game up tremendously.

This game has an amazing creepy feeling to it!

I wish the hunched over creature would do something.

Once I found the axe, I was able to take care of the 'zombies' quickly

The game didn't end when I found the treasure though.

Computer Specs:
CPU: i7-7700 (3.6GHz)
RAM: 16GB
GPU: ASUS ROG GTX 1080
Running off an SSD

So I don't think specs should be a problem.
Might just need some optimization.
But looking past the issues, I think this game could definitely be a favorite of mine.

P.S.
I was running the game on 1920x 1080 at Max.
Low Motion Blur, cause I'm not fond of Motion Blur in general :D

I had fun with this one.
The water jumping section was rather difficult.

But overall the aesthetics, sound and gameplay was good.
The ghosts gave a proper sense of dread.

Character customization +1
Different weapons +1
Audio +1
Music +1

Random dungeon each time? +1

Struggled attacking downwards
Halberd is OP!
Would've loved to see a goal, or end to the game.

The graphics are amazing, it's got an amazing creepy feeling to it.

I had lots of trouble with the UI not scaling to my 1980x1080 screen.
I couldn't properly click on buttons, and once I fixed it I could work with it, but it reset again once I got to level 2.

The game also had a lot of lag.
I got some errors about lighting having to be rebuilt.

Overall I could have fun playing a game like this.

Thanks for giving CUBE a go.
I need to make a tutorial on the climbing system.
At the moment you need to Hold Left Shift if you want to climb the ladders, incl. the ceiling.
Then the tricky part is to Release the Left Shit when you want to enter a vent that is on the side walls.

Thank you very much for having a go at it!
I really want to include a tutorial to get players started, as that would make controls a lot more clearer.

3rd person perspective would be really cool.
But I can imagine it requiring a lot of animation work yea. :D

Thanks for playing and streaming.
The Saw Blade scare was priceless. :D

Thanks for giving it go.
The ladders are climbable while Holding Left Shift.
I had some issues with the climbing mechanic, since when you reach the roof you still be able "climb" on them.
So it wasn't a straight forward up/down ladder.

Definitely something I want to continue improving on, as it would be awesome to nail it down for use in other games.

Thanks for giving it a go.
It's pretty much and escape without dying game.

The game gives you a sense of misdirection, so you have to map out how you move in your head.

Thank you for giving Playtime a go.
If you have any additional feedback that can be added to the improvements list, please let me know.
