While the concept seems great, I felt very lost dropping into the game with no instructions or tutorial, similar to Tucker. That said, the sound design and aesthetic for your UI and weather buttons were great!

Had a great time with this game! I think you have a great project. My only issue was that every time I clicked to time travel, my camera would rotate all around for seemingly no reason and had to press escape to regain control (though since it said "itch has taken control of my pointer" I assume the fault isn't yours, just wanted to mention it in case!)  I think it would be nice if Mama Bear (and us, at the end) weren't T-posing, but that's a small nitpick. Great job!

First off, love the sprite art and animation for jumping. It immediately grabbed my attention and made me smile. That said, I had a difficult time navigating the game due to poor understanding of how to properly pilot the character. With no power bar or aim arrow, it was difficult to plan my jumps. While that aspect may just play into intentional difficulty, I think that if that's the case, the platforms should have more space between them. Making tight jumps does not work well with your primary mechanic, at least while I was playing. Additionally, I would like to see more about how this game Changes The Story. Besides picking up that first piece of trash, I didn't interact with the themes of the jam (maybe I just didn't make it far enough). All that said, I think you have a strong mechanic that's interesting to play, and a fun aesthetic. Now it's time to polish!

Love this idea! I think a bit of preamble at the start would help us enter the game, but obviously this is a prototype so that's not really necessary. I think the themes of the polar ice caps melting as a mechanic for this platformer is really interesting as well. The atmosphere is really helped by the music. Overall, I'm super excited to see where this goes, great work!

I think this is a really interesting idea! I hadn't heard of the Miyawaki method before, so I think your blurb plus the gameplay gave me a pretty good idea of how it works! That said, I would love for that blurb or something similar to be in-game, rather than in the description. As for the aesthetics, I think the game looks great! I would work on the sound design though. I imagine you're using placeholder sounds right now, but consider what kind of sounds evoke nature, and see if that helps with the game's ambience. Speaking of, it would be interesting to see if you could have nature sounds that slowly grow in volume as you plant; you're essentially creating a forest, after all. Having that natural ambience, and diegetic sounds would really improve the gamefeel. Overall, I'm very excited to see what else comes out from this project, great work!

I enjoyed playing through this prototype, and I appreciate the information given to the player through a life simulator! It was very well-written, and its humorous tone made it fun to read. My biggest critique would be that the text box that pops up is very hard to read, so I had a difficult time getting through what should be a fun and interesting piece of text. I suggest using colors that work a bit better together, and that have easier readability. Additionally, I agree with IronConMan that dialogue should be added for each button, in order to incentivize players to try everything. Writing is a strength here, leverage it as much as you can. Overall, great job! I'm excited to see where this project goes.

I love the idea this prototype presents, and am excited to see how it grows from here. That said, I was confused on what all the different metrics meant, and what exactly my objective was, which made it more difficult to play, and comprehend the game's themes. I think with more tutorialization, this could be a really great experience! Keep up the good work.
