Thanks for playing our game! Just to clarify it was my friend who did all the code and I did most of the art assets (excluding the background/environment)

Yeah the instructions are way too overwhelming and causes more confusion that is solves, and it is very off putting. A tutorial level would've been a much better alternative to the mess that is the instructions, and could also ease the players into the game.  The UI could use some tidying, and a minimap might also help as well.

Thank you for such the detailed feedback, we really appreciate the gameplay video, it really shows the rough edges of the game.

Thanks for playing our game! The instructions were definitely way too overwhelming, and a tutorial would certainly help ease the player into the mechanics of the game. The tooltips feature does sound like a good idea and a better way of displaying the tutorial than just the pictures, and to remind the players on certain mechanics. For now the game doesn't work on mobile, so the amount of space wouldn't necessarily be a limitation at the moment. I can see the confusion with the doors as they do look like the walls, and a minimap would've certainly helped with navigation around the map. The credits was a bit messy and the music does get quite repetitive after a while. Thank you for the feedback and glad that you enjoyed our game!

Thank you for playing our game!
Yeah I understand that the instructions and general presentation of everything is a bit messy and rough around the edges. I can certainly see how the health bar and a few other aspects being more visible/clear would improve the gameplay.  The game really does lack playtesting and polishes, and might be something we'll work on in the future. Thanks for the feedback!

Loved the idea, it was a fun challenge doing with my eyes closed! I liked the sound effects, and how you read out the instructions instead of just displaying test and it matches the game that you've made. Good job!

Thanks for playing our game and glad that you enjoyed it!

The tutorial page is quite overwhelming,  and leaving the quest could definitely use some improvements, I can see how it feels like you're abandoning the quest when you're really not. Thank you for the feedback!

Glad you liked our game! Will be sure to check out yours too! Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed our game! The UI is a bit wonky and will be something to fix if we do continue with the game. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for playing our game! As the artist I'm glad you found the art to be cute :3 I'll check out your game for sure!

Thanks for playing our game and even more thanks for the praise! It was my friend who did the programming, and it truly is very impressive!

The characters really do appear tiny on the screen, and the 'doors' do blend in quite a bit of the wall, I can see how it can cause quite a bit of confusion. More playtesting probably would've really been useful as we were both used to staring at the art and didn't notice the sizing issues with the HUD either.

The move aspect was heavily DnD inspired and thought it made sense at the time, however I can see how to can get quite tedious after a while, thanks for pointing it out! The attack automatically misses if you don't select an enemy, however when you do it will attack every enemy in your attack range (the blue circle), it is a bit iffy and would've benefitted with better clarifications.

The instruction page is very lengthy and overwhelming, and it will be something to note for next time. It was a pretty ambitious idea but glad that the gameplay actually worked out in the end.

Thank you for the feedback, glad you enjoyed our game!

Interesting take on the theme! I think the platforms moving there and back to transport the characters across the map is also a good response to the theme. It was fun being able to switch characters in order to do the puzzle, and the crumbling floor did catch me off guard a bit, its certainly a great way to make the levels feel fresh! Good job!

Glad that you enjoyed our game, and thanks for the praise!

Yeah looking back at the instructions there is a lot of info and pretty overwhelming.  For the attack, it would automatically miss if you didn't select/aim at any enemies in the attack range.  And when you do select an enemy, it would still be able to damage all the enemies that you didn't select but are still in the attack range, it is a bit iffy but should've been more clarified.  I only animated the dog's attack facing left, so it does look a bit strange for when he attacks multiple enemies around him at once.

Thanks for the feedback, it means a lot! ^^

Thanks for playing our game, and we're glad that you enjoyed it! We put a lotta work into it, and its good to know that it has paid off!

No probs! If you got the time, it would mean a lot if you could check out my game too, thanks!

The idea is really cool, I found the ghost mode super refreshing to regular platformers, though I did spend most of the time in the host mode as there just seemed to be more to offer while playing as the ghost compared to the regular person. The art is simple and adorable, and the music fits perfectly! I enjoyed this game a lot!

(1 edit)

It was a busy week for the both of us, but glad that it has paid off! I believe that there was a blue circle to show the attack range of the characters but only when you clicked on the action button, but I can see how that could cause a bit of confusion. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for playing our game! Yeah, looking back at it now the instructions are way overloaded with text for each slide, the feedback is much appreciated! Glad you enjoyed the game though!

Its a cool idea, and the sounds really suit what's going on, but the controls were a bit hard to control, but once I got the hang of it, it was enjoyable. Great game!

Love the simplicity of the game! The art and sound effects were amazing, and it was fun to try and dodge around the enemy lasers while moving through the level. Though the enemies having the same color palette as your character can be a bit confusing,  and the lazers dont look as threatening as it could be, and it threw me off slightly as I wasn't too sure whether they were hostile or not until they started blasting at me. Overall great game though, it was a lotta fun!

A nice take on the theme! The art was very nice and the music was very soothing! Though it was a bit complicated for me to figure out how the game works, but the looped idea is really cool! Great game!

Cute game! The graphics are adorable and the movements felt very realistic, and the beginning dialogue is gold! Its a fun game trying to avoid all those enemies, though the cactuses really blend in with the background and it was hard to tell that it was gonna kill you. Overall still an amazing game, I enjoyed it!

Okay firstly, I love the name! I was interesting for me to play both players at the same time with each hand against eachother, the idea is very fun and the gravity changing aspect is really cool! The graphics looks very nice, and the music fits in very well! Good job ^^

A fun and unique take to the theme, though it is a bit of a stretch! I enjoyed the game, the sound effects were super satisfying and the graphics were nice and clean. I does get a bit stressful when the mail starts to pile up but then very satisfying to get all those tasks done! Great game!

Loved this game! The graphics were amazing, the characters were so cute and I loved the details in the environment, it was a very nice touch.  I enjoyed how the character slowed down with each coin collected as it made sure that I didnt end up getting too greedy and too slow to run away from the adorable yet painful ghost enemy. Great game!

Thanks for the comment! Yeah I see what you mean with the HUD, thanks for the feedback!

Loved the game! The idea is so cute (and relatable) and the controls were sooo nice to use! I love how the background changes each time as it gets closer to sunrise, its very useful when you get too focused on the food, and its also very pretty! Though personally I found the game a little hard, as I had to rush to get all the food in time and barely make it bad before the sunrise, but overall it was a very entertaining game!

Such a cute game!! The graphics and the sound effects made the game very enjoyable!! I love how Blue collects the items and carries it on his head, its adorable!!

Its a fun game once you get into it, though it took a while for me to get into the swing of it as the first few days could get a bit repetitive. But once the animals start popping up, oh boy was I ready to start a family.  The grass was a bit odd as you could see where it was cut off, and some music or SFX would've made the game feel more engaging, but still an amazing game nonetheless!

This game is adorable! I loved playing as the mama llama tryna get all her baby llamas back, and the obstacles were a fun challenge! Though the controls were a bit out of control, though it was very amusing to watch the baby llamas fall off the edge with me. The graphics, mainly the environment in my opinion, could've used some work, but given the time constraints its an amazing game!

No problem! Its really an amazing game! I hope you'll have time to check out my entry to the jam too ^^

Love the idea! Its cute and quirky, and fits the theme perfectly! The hints were really useful for someone who is absolutely terrible at puzzle games (aka me) The music was fun and groovy, but graphics were rather simple. Great game though!

Such a unique on take on the theme, I loved it! The graphics were very nice and atmospheric and along with the music I got completely sucked in!

Fun game! The idea is adorable, I mean who wouldnt love a ninja thief. I really enjoyed the way you added more ways to hide/more things to steal as you go up the levels, it made it a lot less boring and made me keep playing it for ages. I really loved the way you showed the tutorials on the boards on the wall, it made the game easy to understand yet still very fun! It was a fun game ^^
