Nice puzzle game, I enjoyed it a lot! It reminded me of a combination of some VimLark games :) nice art style and smooth execution, well done!
I love the art style and concept here! well done :)
If you get chance, I'd love to hear what you thought of my submission!
Fun little game, there does seem to be a bug (or leftover debug thing) where if you right click you get sent back to level 1 with no warning or confirmation.. Would have been better if it didn't reset my gameplay after level 3 when I accidentally clicked that
Really nice art and music, but I have a few complaints about the controls: I didn't expect the whole game to restart with right click.. I was pretty far into the game and i right clicked cause i was alt tabbed and wanted the focus back. Also E as the pause button doesn't make much sense to me, i tried to press E to flick the switch instead, but that's just a minor thing i noticed. Overall a really nice puzzle game!
Oh haha, you found our bug! Right click was used to tp us to a level for testing, and we forgot to remove it. You can always go to menu and level selection to go back to whichever level you were on! The E button was a last minute feature, since i remembered people complaining using esc as pause for WebGL, since that makes you exit full screen. Thanks for the comment and glad you enjoyed it!
Adorable art work, catchy tunes, and a clever interpretation of the focus/ theme! I love these kinds of two person puzzle solver games.
Bugs I found:
Not sure how... but when I clicked one of my mouse buttons it would bring me to a different level without having completed a level?
Suggestions:
- Make a UI showing coins collected! (I'm sure you thought of this)
- This is minor but a though - Your cover photo is cool, but it didn't give me a great feel for what your game actually contained. Maybe having both your characters on the cover as well to display the "dual character" aspect would help! Also would show off their cuteness.
Overall, nice execution! Kept me interested for quite some time.
Well done.
And totally inspired by something vimlark did in an earlier video of his. ;)
I like it.
My only complaints are:
-Characters stop on every block even if you hold the direction down.
-That animation pop whenever you are holding down the button to go a certain direction.
Ah, thats because of the lack of time to do animations. We only had time to create idle animations for the front, and thats why it changes back to that every walk. Walking is based on a grid system, so the animations were separated. I will be sure to make them continuous after the jam. Thanks for the feedback!
Creative implementation of the theme. I really enjoyed it! Some feedback would be more information given to the player on which movable platforms can carry a person or a box. It changes between levels and I think if they even just looked different it would help with the solution planning on the players part. Great game!
I noticed it in a couple stages around level 6. It didnt' break the game for me it just wouldn't let me push it onto the platform sometimes, it would look like my character was walking on top of the box instead (they would move into the box's square). Awesome game! I can't wait to see what you all do next!
Interesting take on the theme! I think the platforms moving there and back to transport the characters across the map is also a good response to the theme. It was fun being able to switch characters in order to do the puzzle, and the crumbling floor did catch me off guard a bit, its certainly a great way to make the levels feel fresh! Good job!
I liked your take on Vimlark's cross the gap :)
the art is nice. and the collectable mechanic adds a nice touch to the game.

Fun puzzle game. I like that you can switch between the 2 players. If you continue this game project I would consider having the male character having special abilities like he can push certain heavy objects and the female can fit through certain areas or is more technical
Nice little puzzle game. Levels are very well laid out however I got to really say putting a box in the 3rd level? When it is not needed to progress is a bit of a underhanded blow. Music is good, but I feel really doesn't line up amazingly with the gameplay involved. The spriteart is really well done but for some reason I kept having this weird glitch where it would flash to a frame in the opposite direction I was moving when I walked around. Otherwise everything seemed to work just fine with little issue.
Thanks for reviewing our game! I hope you enjoyed our review in kind.
thanks for the feedback! I'm the artist who did all the sprites and tiles! The glitch is because I didn't have time to do idle animations for every direction so every time you stop moving, it reverts back to the front facing idle animation. This was my first ever jam and it was amazing to see my art come to life!
Some fantastic puzzle work in this. A really nice use of the two character switching mechanic, sending platforms back and forth to aid navigation was really nice, and then when the crates and falling floors came in, I had that wonderful moment of being stuck for several attempts and then the smart feeling of realization when I noticed what I had to do. Also really loved the art here, some nice detail like the little bob of the hair during the idles anims. I did eventually get stuck on the one where there was that 3x3 with the crate that you had to bring back over to the main platform (like level 5 or something).
But thoroughly enjoyable play session. great job!
Thanks for the feedback! The level design was mostly rushed in 1-2 days, so it is not up to my standards as of now. I did try to create "ah ha" moments in the puzzles, such as the ability to pass through each other, but the final product was kinda jumbled with less or no link between the levels. I also had made lasers, mirrors and photosensors, but there was just no time to design levels for them. I will be sure to redesign the levels and maybe a future release, and maybe a walkthrough video too. Anyways, thanks for the comment! glad you liked it!
For a couple of days design the puzzles I made it past were really well done, all the right elements to a puzzle if you ask me, room to interact and work out what each step does, then the task of working out how to string those steps together, was really good stuff. I’d love to see what you could do with more time.
